Yannis Anastasiou

Did anyone expect Maxwell not to leave ? This is getting really confusing ;)
By the way, I thought you said that Anastasiou would leave in January. Hopefully you were wrong, and that's the real breaking news : I will be able to get his signature after the training when I'm in Amsterdam next week.

And not too shabby a move for Sparta as well.Kowalczyk schreef:According to today's Algemeen Dagblad Sparta Rotterdam are about to offer him a contract. They are coached by Wiljan Vloet, who was Yannis' coach at Roda JC at the time. They are still in touch.
Would be a nice move for him.

On Friday 28 April I actually posted that the above was a 'done deal', but it fell though at the last moment: Sparta couldn't afford his wages.Kowalczyk schreef:According to today's Algemeen Dagblad Sparta Rotterdam are about to offer him a contract. But now it's official: Yannis Anastasiou has signed a two year deal at Sparta Rotterdam. With the help of a few sponsors they have now landed the Greek striker after all.
We have updated the news report about the six Ajacieden leaving on a free transfer...
