Granted I haven't been following it closely, but everytime I look Ajax is attacking. That's a good sign. Still have to work on the finishing it seems. Anyone have a shot total for both sides?

Vermeer could've eaten a six course meal between the sticks tonight. Definitely a case where Borac were that poor and the defense was pretty solid. A couple headers for them and one 1/2 chance out of the reach pass in the first half.

Sarpong definitely looked lively out there. I hope the goal will help his confidence.

As for Evander Sno and his chances of scoring, one need only paraphrase Geddy Lee. To wit: " Today's Tom Sier".

Look if you want a dialogue about this I dont mind. Let me just put my case forward of when I said I was right about Ajax, they are as followed.

1. When Ajax signed Mido and Zlatan, in the first season most fans I encountered prefered Mido over Zlatan, I always said Zlatan would come out on top.

2. When i watched a friendly QPR vs Ajax in 2004. After the game finished we waited for the Ajax players to come out. Me and these 2 ajax fans argued about who would be better upfront, Babel or Sonck, I went for Babel and they went for Sonck.

3. Finally my favourite one, Johnny Heitinga, and if you dont believe me ask SE6Ajacied, him along with the rest of the Ajax fans in the de Hems, said Ajax should purchase Ron Vlaar and give them Heitinga as part of the package, I replied 'no send Vlaar to Feyenoord, and lets stick with Heitinga' and guess what happened.

Watched the second half , all Ajax. Pleased to say that having updated my computer in the summer I can now get streams through media player. the one I got ustream tv was very clear and covered the whole screen. Very clear and for once I did not need commentary as I could see all the players.Watching in Dutch is still better than listening to english commentators. Saw 10 mins of the Everton game ,during half time. Never
heard such drivel since Motson retired.



PS. I like Sarpong good goal. I have a feeling he will become a very good player.
