All to play for on Wednesday (when have you heard this before?). A draw or win clinch the Eredivisie for Ajax. I still remember the CL debacle several years ago when Dinamo Zagreb rolled over for Lyon and Ajax lost second place because of goal difference. Ajax cannot allow this to happen and a meltdown at de Grafschaap as happened four years ago should not be permitted. Let's close out the season with a win!

I just saw on Ajax Showtime that Ajax will have to go through two qualification rounds to make it to the group stage of the Champions League. Of course this is done to please the automatic group stage qualifiers from the "big" leagues. This just sucks!!

Don't see why we need a win or a draw to clinch. The way I see it, even if we lose and PSV win that puts us even on points and I can't see how they can overcome our enormous goal difference. Unless I'm missing something, it seems to me that we have clinched already.

That level of corruption would not be tolerated in the Eredivisie -- any team that tried that would be drummed out of Dutch football -- more than likely there would be a criminal investigation -- think about it, the difference is close to three times what happened in the D-L match -- no matter how corrupt, no team would dare take part in that kind of scheme.

This team is really special. The most points the Fran de Boer squads ever got was 76 points. We're way past that with (as of right now) 86. Plus 116 goals!!! That's just crazy.

Ajax playing a little lackadaisical and the conceded goal was because of weak defending. PSV are even up at 1-1 against Heracles. Title should be in Amsterdam barring some totally bizarre finish.
