24 SEP 2014 JOS Watergraafsmeer - Ajax KNVB Cup

No rest for the weary with a cup match coming up mid-week. There was some question about where it would be played the amateur side JOS Watergraafsmeer does not have a popper home stadium according the the KNVB. The Olympic Stadium is the venue for the match and I guess the requirement for money to turn on the lights has been met. I imagine that we will see a fair number of reserves play in this match.

FdB's lineup for tomorrow's cup match: Diederik Boer, Ricardo van Rhijn, Mike van der Hoorn, Stefano Denswil, Nick Viergever, Jairo Riedewald, Davy Klaassen, Lerin Duarte, Arek Milik, Ricardo Kishna and Lucas Andersen

I would really like for Andersen and Kishna to come up big in this match!!

Naah, only the Ajax amateurs. They lost after penalties to NEC Nijmegen.

Still 1st half Ajax with 3 goals, Milik with two of em'. He must start all matches!! His first goal was brilliant...

Milik ends up with 6 goals and 2 assists on the evening. JOS Watergraafsmeer were not very good and there was a huge difference in quality. Menig saw action in the second half (maybe this was his first senior game?) and got a goal as well.

That was fun to watch. Milik finished with six goals and two nice assists. Yep he should be playing more.

Yep, big quality difference, but one reason you play your second tier players is to give them a chance to earn a start in the eredivisie, so maybe Milik has done that.

Watched the 2nd half and Milik must start more games but JOS were very poor.
