I don't know why in football, teams let the opposition get away with that. If this was the NHL there would be a player whose sole responsibility would be to kick the crap out of Rodney at every opportunity. In football that never seems to happen.

Someone screwed up bigtime on the Utrecht goal. Anita didn't close him down soon enough and Enoh looked lost and probably screened Vermeer. Now Toby is off the pitch and subbed for some reason.

That was the second time Enoh left that guy free for a dangerous shot. The first time Vermeer had to make a good save.

The mistake was not blasting Sneijder flat on his ass on the first play of the game. When Ajax learns that if the ref isn't going to protect you, you take the steps needed to protect yourself -- that's when these teams will stop trying to push them around.
