We were linked to Bas as a possible #9. We went for Siggi instead. A direct comparison would be good to see.
I've liked Roy for awhile now and with our lack of out and out wingers, I thought we would have bought him. We instead went for Derk. Another direct comparison.

Will be a good measure of how we'll be this year. A good early test.

One thing which I've never understood is why Ajax can't hire Heerenveen's scouts who focus on forwards? That or least hire some good spies...

Heerenveen games always tend to be a good barometer outside of the obvious big games. Im feeling pretty positive about it to be honest though. I dont think we've weakened anywhere although we should get a decent 2nd keeper as the thought of Pizza standing between the sticks makes me feel ill
