Re: Albert Luque Martos
well it was somewhere between 5 and 7m euros , I see I made reservations at the time of his signing.
Re: Albert Luque Martos
He came on a free transfer (probably a large signing fee and a huge salary though).

Re: Albert Luque Martos
Okay, to be precise, Ajax will loan him out to Malaga for one more season. After that he's free to sign a permanent contract there (which I think he alreasy did).
Luque at Ajax... It was a bit of nightmare, we can all agree on that one.
He came on a free transfer, though. We didn't pay a fee for him. But we did pay him a big fat sum of signing money, plus a salary of 2.2 million euros plus match premiums. That's a shitload of cash that went south.
Enough already. Bye bye Luque.

Re: Albert Luque Martos
Sorry to mislead about paying a fee for this waste of space. I do take it Malaga are paying all his salary ?
Re: Albert Luque Martos
I can answer myself as it is a loan and we have not cancelled his contract we must be paying some of his wages .I know Malaga did not want to pay a fee so clearly we are probably paying for him to play there. What a farce we cannot even get rid of him from our payroll.
Re: Albert Luque Martos
Are you sure about that? I read from two trustable news sources that he rescinded his contract...SPL schreef:I can answer myself as it is a loan and we have not cancelled his contract we must be paying some of his wages .I know Malaga did not want to pay a fee so clearly we are probably paying for him to play there. What a farce we cannot even get rid of him from our payroll.

While Goal.crap report:
Luque arrives at Malaga after spending last season on loan at the Estadio La Rosaleda, where he scored a total of eight goals.
The 31-year-old joins Malaga for nothing after terminating his contract with Ajax by mutual consent.
He will arrive in Malaga tomorrow to be presented at 12.30 (CET time), after which he will join the team's pre-season training camp in Benahavis.

This is usually a reliable source...
But Malaga announced on it's official website that Luque's contract at Ajax was terminated.

Re: Albert Luque Martos
English sites all state a free but OS states loan. I put my last comment as a loan can only mean we are paying some of his wages. I stand to be corrected but there can be no other reason why he is loaned.

Re: Albert Luque Martos
Time to close this one down, I suppose...
Luque is officially a loaned out Ajax player until the end of the season, but we can discuss him in the Former Players thread for all I care...
