At least if KJH is to sign for Spurs you will probably know before all the other fans!!!

Reports state Elm is likely to sign for Everton but we are still trying for De Zeeuw. Reckon we will get a midfielder and they are still looking for another defender. Looking at a young lad who has been at Southend does not make me jump up and down.

We still need another striker.4-3-3 is still a better system and this was shown in the second half on Saturday when we looked a much better team . Cvitanich is injury prone, Suarez is not a central striker Bodul still needs another a year before he is ready.

Rumours are that Ajax are interested in Mido.

Ian I see your point re Bodul and would go along with those thoughts. I just get the feeling he is not thought to be ready especially as he was left at home with the reserves and not in England but I do not want to see him stuck in the reserves.He needs to be given first team footy but Jol has already stuck him back in the reserves where Castillion needs to play as the main striker.

He should have been in England and on Saturday surely Jol would have learnt something by giving him
an outing!!

PS Luque was picked ahead of him for England and last night in a0-0 draw with Jong Sparta Luque played and not Bodul!!

Euro U19 finals started yesterday in Ukraine. Hope we have some scouts there as we could maybe find a good player for the future that is not from eredivisie.

As for Mido, don't think i would like to have him here. He had troubles everywhere he was and in that case doubt that Bodul would be given a chance that he deserves.
Would not mind Bale though.

Everything I've read and heard suggests that he's poison in the dressing room , and it doesn't sound like he's changed or grown up at all, based on that link to the Yorkshire Post. Surely that's not the kind of example our youngsters need?

problem is that, according to some reports, jol declared bodul a very interesting player but still not ready for ajax. and suggests a loan. good for the player and good for ajax, some day, but this way we have only cvitanich on forward!

Bodul would benefit from a loan rather than more reserve footy and my thoughts of earlier appear right in that Jol sees him for next season. As for Mido no thank you . He has done nothing since we kicked him out to Celta Vigo. OM Roma Spurs Middlebrough and even Wigan have not seen much from him.

Do I see we are going to play 4-4-2 this season as we have no decent wingers ! All I know is watching the 1st half on Saturday with 4-4-2 we did not look good at attack but 2nd half with 4-3-3 came width and chances.

The 20-year-old striker made his official debut for Ajax last term in the 4-1 league loss against Vitesse. However, he failed to make an impact since then and won't get too much first team action this season either at Ajax.

"Darko has huge potential, but he's still a young player. It's very important for a player of his age to get regular first team action. Therefore, we're ready to farm him out on loan," said Ajax coach Martin Jol.

"However, we're only letting go of him if a club offers him a starting berth. He's not improving his game by warming the bench somewhere else. Bodul is an important player for the future."

Doesn't look good if its as bad as theyre making out, shame really, hes a nice little player. I'd love see him playing in an Ajax shirt. I think hes the kind of player we were missing last season for those tough games.

for de zeeuw it seems to me that the deal is almost done. the player has been excluded from the az team (not only for an injury he had after) and also koeman seems sure he will go to ajax. question of time I hope.

I would love to see the kind of grit Demy de Zeeuw brings in our side( we would go from having no grit and little heart to having Gabri , Enoh, and De Zeeuw within a short couple of years ...grit like sandpaper there) , but taking on another injury and paying millions for the privilege ....W-T-F !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY???? Are we that in need of another midfielder? Don't get me wrong, he is a good player but is he that much better than Enoh, Blind, Lindgren, etc. that we should be spending money? I am disappointed.
