Great result....good to see KJH break his duck....but he's playing for the team now, not himself.

Let's see the same outcome on Sunday......minus the home goal!!!

Four away goals, some excellent finishing, and The Hunter off the mark . Great result. Just hope Mickey is okay. I read the Ajax.nl minute by minute which had him going off injured on 79 and being replaced by Leonardo.

Borac were crap, but in recent years we fucked it up against opponents of this caliber. This time we didn't. Good result.

Some more comments. I thought Ajax's start was a bit poor (first ten minutes), but after that it was quite clear that the difference in quality was pretty huge. Ajax were in in total control. Second half: history repeated itself. Not a good start, a very poor first 15 minutes indeed (in which they scored), but after that? Piece of cake, really.

As for the goals: two ugly ones (Sulejmani and Huntelaar's first) and two stunners: Suarez's brilliant little chip (he literally lifted the ball over a defender and the 'keeper, from a standstill) and KJH's cracking shot from 20 yards out (with his left!).

Good thing that Klaas-Jan (or 'Jan Klaas' as the Serbian tv called him) has found the net with the Classic coming up.

Return leg a formality. Group stage, here we come.

Normal service resumes KJH scores at last.(he has not scored for the last 6 competitive games.ie 4 playoffs last season plus 2 league games so far)
