Distance between the lines became too big, the players looked tired in the last part of the match.

Oh well... Arsenal has to perform next wednesday, Ajax has still 3 weeks of preperation time.

Until the 70th minute it was allright, after that Ajax became tired.

Too many mistakes in the back line...turnovers in our own half killed us...Defense still look shaky...i dont know about you but Anita in defense is something i dont like...how can he defend a cross against someone like adebayor ??? Its impossible...i like the fact that he is feisty and speedy but he is more suited for a wing position rather than the center.
Their were some positives though...Suleijmani looked good with the few balls he touched and our atack line is plain scary...we are going to score a lot of goals in the eredivisie.

Would like too see some new players like Martina, Slingaard etc etc.
BRING IT ON !!!!...

I can't say I'm too pleased with coming from in front to lose, regardless of the circumstance. Or with Arsene Wenger's comment on Sky Sports News: "They looked tired after an hour". W-T-F ?????

Did a youngster play for Arsenal in the midfield tonight by the name of Aaron Ramsey? If so he was a Cardiff City player last season but Arsenal bought him off us for £4.8million

He did. He played the last 10-20 minutes or so.

The team is prepared to be in top shape in 3 weeks, maybe that's the reason...

Enjoyed our goals, thye will score 100 goals in the league this season.
defence is still dodgy. Oleguer is still finding his feet but Anita is not a centre back. we need a big bloke in the centre as I am not sure Vermaelen is the answer.Mind you they are not going to come up against Adebeyour
every week .

New boys looked ok but I would agree with what was posted that our subs look a little green.Apart from Gentenaar the subs were all kids with only the 4 youngsters at Peking plus Sarpong and Jan-Arie V d Heijden to come in.

Well that was fun. I avoided this page all evening, stayed up to watch it at midnight, saw our two goals but then fell asleep at 2-1 to us and ended up checking the result on here this morning. A lot of positives for me from last night though - looking forward to the season ahead.

btw Arsenal TV don't do "commentary" zzzzz, just a wander down memory lane between two old players with a wee bit of comment about the match thrown in.

Decent outcome I guess.
Didn't watch the game, how were they?

Schilder seems to be playing a lot, will he be staying after all?

On FSC's 19.00 est Sky Sports News broadcast last night, It looked like Schilder who made that pathetic back pass that led to Arsenal's second goal. P-U !!! I think he maybe holding down the fort until Urby ( More Drama !) and Vertonghen ( my choice out of the three) return.
