Slijngard has not yet renewed. He has been linked with Vittesse. He must be looking for 1st team footy next season and thus he will possibly leave us rather than just re sign and go on loan.

Meant to say last week that Sterk has signed for Volendam. Of the reserves whose contracts have not been renewed he is the first to sign for another club.

We had six or maybe seven players on the under 17 team in the recent Euro championships. Where are they in terms of progressing forward? As I recall good things were said about Rodney Sneijder.

We contracted 11 players aged 16/17 and the majority will now play this season in our A1 team ie senior youth team.I would imagine they will all need a season at this level but 1or 2 of them will likely get games for the
reserves as the season progresses.Sneijder and Castillion are rated the best of the bunch and it will be interesting to see how they develop.

Young Ajax suffered a 4-0 defeat at the Den Helder Maritime tournament against Sparta Rotterdam (their first team, that is). Ironic detail: three of Sparta's goals were scored by Rydell Poepon.

Lazic stayed on the bench, along with goalie Ouwerkerk, but Will, Hasselbaink and Aslan did not make the bench. (It may be these last 3 were injured as they did not feature in last weeks games v Sparta and Helder, when 3 members of our A1 squad were involved.)

I make this point as the those 3 first teamers are taking the place of proper reserves , who all need playing time.If we are left with them plus Perez Luque Colin and Delorge in the reserves,then even more first teamers will be taking the places of the young reserves.

In a nut shell my load of waffle is just saying we need a clear out by the end of the month otherwise a few reserves will not get playing time.

I don't think that Perez, Luque and Delorge will receive much playing. Sure, they are 'relegated' to Jong Ajax, but that's just for the outside world. Everybody knows that Perez and Luque have to be sold by the end of this month. Their status is too big for Jong Ajax and I can understand that they will be a very very negative factor in that team.

Reserves drew 2-2 with Brazilian team Atletico Mineira, Danilio and Bodul
scored. They now play tomorrow Jong Az for 5th and 6th place.

I mentioned in their last game about injuries and in fact Aslan Hasselbaink and Will are all injured together with Wormgoor. Last night Goossens went off injured and his replacement Schell also went off injured.Thats 6 out of 18 reserves injured!

Of the 'non reserves' Krohn-Dehli played 90 mins Manucharyan sub for 3 mins and Mitea was missing as he is talking with another club posssibly
Steua Bucherest.

Hopefully 1or 2 of the A1 team will be drafted in for Az tomorrow, cannot see any point in Delorge Colin playing. Perez and Luque will certainly not play.

As I have just mentioned Luque is playing for the reserves at the moment in the reserves cup v Omniworld.
after 30 mins they are 2-0 up with Manucharyan scoring the first.

I am putting this now instead of later to say that 3 of this team should not be here. Luque, KDehli and Manucharyan are all on the list and this game
highlights my fears ie we are not giving the true reserves playing time.

This will be one of our easiest reserve games and Jongebloet, Lazic and Schell all just out of the youth team should be playing 90 mins of football tonight.

If we do not get rid of Perez Colin and Delorge then they too may play and keep more kids out!!!

As for my moaning about Luque, Manucharyan and Krohn-Dehli starting , these 3 were all substituted on 60 mins with Schell,Lewis and Goossens all coming on.
So we did have an under 21 team for the last 30 mins!!!
