First play-off game. We know that we play the away game first, but date and time are yet to be announced. If we manage to eliminate Heerenveen in two games, we advance to play the winner of the NAC Breda vs FC Twente encounter.

Another disappointing season really, but there were some good moments. The Feyenoord game for example.

Away leg has been confirmed for May 1st, 14:30 CET.

Yes, May 1st is a Thursday and kick-off is in the afternoon. The reason: May 1st in International Labour Day and it is also Ascension Day. Both are public holidays in The Netherlands (but it's a coincidence that they're on the same date this year). Everybody has the day off over here.

The date for the return leg in Amsterdam is yet to be confirmed. May 4th is National Remembrance Day and mayor Job Cohen reportedly doesn't want any football games on that day. He's 100% right. I would find it absolutely absurd to play on May 4th. Alternative date, according to RTL4: Sunday April 27th, but that's Cup Final Day (Feyenoord vs Roda) and it would also mean that Ajax play at home first.

Yeah. Bollocks to them.

The good news is: the play-offs for the Champions League qualifying slot are very likely to be abandoned next season.

The bad news is: something tells me we can't win 'em three times in a row...

At least then we wouldn't have to suffer the embarrassment of losing in the opening rounds to third tier teams again.

Colin fined for criticising the club and dropped to reserves.

Possible defence Silva Lindgren Heits and Urby with Ogararu and Kuffour
also available .

Good Luck Lads - from Paro Airport in Bhutan where we have been delayed for 7 hours for our flight to Kathmandu. The only airline to fly in and out of here only has two planes and one is stuck in Dehli because of a technical fault. Please remind me not to moan about Easyjet again.
