This one's for Dan...
You move to Austria and guess what: you miss the party of the century.

What a terrible woman, and what a super-mega-ultra-cool bloke. He don't give a shit. Hilarious. Best news interview I've ever seen.

What's that line towards the end:
Her: What do you have to say to other kids who might be planning a party like yours.
Him: Don't do it. Let me do it for you.

Same thing happened in England a year or so back with £9,000 worth of damage to Mummy and Daddy bungalow, - swimming pool wrecked, lights ripped out but this kid really topped it by trashing the Police as well (and then saying it was nothing to do with him)

Ha, another one who makes me ashamed to be Australian (along with almost the entire Australian cricket team -- go India!!!)Kowalczyk schreef:This one's for Dan...

LMAO. This story is stupidly HUGE in Australia. The kid is obviously a complete dickhead, but what I did like was how he made the interviewer look totally amateur. I really dislike the 'current affairs' programs in Australia, so anyone that can show those rubbish shows for what they are deserves a point or two.Kowalczyk schreef:This one's for Dan...

The kid is obviously a loser though, but the end of that interview is a classic:
Interviewer - "You need to take a good look at yourself!"
Corey the tossa - "I have. Everyone has. They love it!"
Incidentally I used to live in that town, and the 'party' was held about half a km from where we lived. I wonder if we would have been invited??? I mean 500 people and all...

Was just watching the New York Giants and nice to see a Scotsman kick the winning kick to allow the NYG reach the Superbowl.
Actually got a personal interest in this as Lawrence Tynes the kicker played for the boy's football club that my Dad managed for years back home in Campbeltown. Lawrence played for them for 3 years before his father in the US Military was transferred back to the States. Hard to imagine the wee lad who used to turn up at the front door to go to football training will be playing in the Superbowl.
Couple of good articles about him -well first maybe not but good to see him keep up the good Scottish tradition of being a nutter when drunk

You guys already had an impressive team, but I suspect this is what you'll need to do to keep pace with the big boys in the East. I imagine this would make you a favorite to win the division.Dubbel schreef:How's this for depth in the outfield, Aveslacker?
Guerrero, Anderson, Hunter, Matthews Jr, Willits. 3 big bats, 2 gold gloves, 2 speedy lead off men!
I trust we'll be up there with the better ones this season!
How is Houston doing?
The 'stros have gotten better -- they lost a lot of dead weight over the winter and picked up some good players. It's unfortunate that one of those players (Miguel Tejada) is now under investigation for perjury in the steroids flap.
The problem with the 'stros is pitching. After Oswalt, they lack depth.
Still, they play in one of the weakest divisions, so they have a chance.

We have a new Ajacied in the world. My other half Jasmine had a little baby girl at 8am this morning.
She looks to have a good right foot so we just need Ajax to start a womens team in the next 17 years or so. I managed to get hold of a '3-6 months old' kit so she's well on the way to getting the Ajax thing.....
