I suppose we can't have any faith in that anymore.
He would have if we did not tank in Europe and if he and Suarez got along. I don't think that anyone gets along with Suarez. I am starting to wonder if we should get gid of him if he causes problems.

We are apparenlty going after 2 players that we will probably never land, just like when Sneijder left. Luka Modric and Ismail Aissati. Wasting time again so they can not get replacements and say that they tried. We are going to get nothing in the Transfer Window and we will lose Urby and KJH. We are going to have to rely on the youth for a long time to come I think.

Oh, yes and KJH will go to Chelsea. Drogba is out for 5-6 weeks and will be leaving at the end of the year and Kalou and Sheva have not worked out and will also be leaving I think.

Why not Man U? Is KJH going to sit on the bench for Rooney and Tevez? They are totally overated and suck. I don't think so. Besides, Man U wasted their money on Owen Hargreaves, Tevez and that Anderson guy, all who suck. Nani was their only good buy in the past few years. Carrick was also to expensive for his lack of quality, IMO. Most of these players all cost 25 million euros, around the same money as Sneijder who is better than any of them. Sir Alex is losing it, time has long past for him to give it up. First he lost Ronaldhinio and Robben, now he is going to lose out on KJH.

I do not think KJH will go in the winter. Juve evidently want him but in the summer.

How are they going to pay for him? They can't out bid any of his other suitors and van Geel will sell to the highest bidder.

Besides, we should never do business with them again after they screwed us out of a 5th European Cup in 96 by doping their players and fixed a CL game against us. They should have to give us a crapload of cash for free in lieu of damages, IMO.

Reports state Urby is staying for the season.

Headline today that Spurs watched Steks on sat. Well a scout of Spurs was probably at the match watching several players like scouts do every game and thus the press have made up a story.

With a defender and a midfielder likely to come in and possibly the 2 young Brazilians signing we will have to unload some players especially as
the senior injured ie Leonardo, Delorge Vermaelen and Pitbull are all coming back to fitness.

As I have just said hopefully Heits will stay until the summer. We have to accept that Urby KJH and possibly Steks will go in the summer. It is vital we keep these for the season.

Maduro has until the end of this week to decide on a contract extension
and thus he may go in January!

I would also let Urzaiz and Colin go then but the club need to let a few younger players go out on loan.Schilder Sarpong Donald to name 3 first teamers. Van Der Heijden could benefit from a loan as he looks one for the future and could step up with Venlo or Willem.

Some of the young reserves will need to as well as but that is

I meant to cancel the last line. I was going to add some of the reserves will
possibly go to make some room for the best of the A1 youths to play.

I think one of the reasons why Maduro doesn't want to extend his contract is, that he knows, that Ajax are looking for a really good central midfielder in winter and he understands that this would mean he's going on the bench again

So he avoids the confrontation and goes to another club of the same level (expectations) as Ajax? Which club will fall for that? Nobody likes quiters and if Maduro leaves Ajax because he is afraid of a bit of competition, I don't know another club that wants him. Exept for some mediocre English or Spanish clubs..

Tottenham want Urby at the winterstop. I hope we will keep him. We already have lost too many key players this season.

Our defence needs strengthening so not sure where we go if Heits and Urby get sold next month.Surely the club will insist on these 2 staying until the summer!!

I think it would be best to keep both Heitinga and Emmanuelson, but I can see Ajax letting one of them go provided we actually purchase some defense assistance beforehand. I'd like to see both of them stay, but it's only a matter of time before Urby is gone (whether it's England, Spain, or Italy) and Heitinga probably will be close to follow.

To be honest I would love to see Urby leave, the guy is in crisis lets cash in on him and see him rot on the benches of either the Roma or Valencia. As for Heitinga, well it all depends on how Ajax perform and what they win at the end of the season, if we win the eredivisie I can see him staying for one last season.

If he won't sign an extention, he'll never admit, that he did that because he scares concurency. Juventus and Inter are interested in him now and if he will be benched after winterbreak, clubs like those two, won't be interesting in him anymore. I think he understands that very clearly and i have very litle hope that he will extend his contract

Spurs have asked Ajax to name their price for Urby. He seems very keen to
go for the money ie having seen his mate Babel earning a fortune on Liverpool bench and seeing Drenthe go to Real Madrid. He is not playing well this season and I think we must consider selling him now.

As for Maduro , if he does not renew his contract I would imagine we will try and sell him in January otherwise I can see him sitting on the bench for the rest of the season. Talk of Inter and Juve I would imagine he will probably be playing for Bolton next season.

Heits must not be sold in January.

I agree. I don't mind if Urby is sold, but I think we should try to keep Maduro, who's been playing well of late, and we must keep Heitinga.

Deadline for Maduro passed, and he hasn't decided which is apparently pissing off the Ajax men in black.

I hope he stays, but as of right now looks like he'll leave...

Ajax have said no to Spurs regards Urby. Ajax are not selling him this winter break.

Regards Maduro an english site says he has no problems with the offer but wants to see who the new coach is and what new players are coming before he makes a decison. It suggests he will make a decison before the end of the season but a new coach may not be appointed if we win the title.

Ajax have messed him about by not offering him an extension until this September but the lad either wants to play for us or not. . We cannot put up with someone who is dithering about going or maybe staying.Ajax now have to call his bluff and put him on the transfer list in the morning and say he can leave in January.

It is a shame if it comes to this as Ajax should have been talking about contract extensions a year ago !!

Speak of respect then... :hypocrite.gif:

Ajax player or not, I do think that Maduro was shit for several months last season - that's why Ajax didn't want to offer him a new contract - and I never thought it was disrespectful to tell the truth. Now, if the word "shit" is too violent for you, well... :confused.gif:

It doesn't change the fact that Maduro has been playing "pretty well" since the end of last season and that now, this is Emanuelson who's playing like shit, with all due respect that deserve every holy Ajax player.

Here's a link from ESPN SoccerNet about the Emmanuelson situation:
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story ... 16&cc=5901

Looks like they were offering £7m, but I think I agree with van Geel and the defender situation this year. As a result, I think your views on Maduro seem to be the most beneficial. He seems to be the best prospect to move out during the transfer period and make some money. It is a shame how he has been treated, but it sure seems like he will be on his way out if he doesn't extend his contract (and I don't think he will). I think he can benefit us on the field, but may benefit us more with the funds if used wisely for the rest of this season and next.
