I've heard that Jol is not looking for jobs in Holland at the moment, and I don't know if Rutten is interested in moving to PSV (though my predictions are usually off).

Also, Charisteas wasn't a bad buy. Perhaps Sonck or Soetaers would be a better example.

Jol refused the job that had been offered to him in Eindhoven. Rutten from Twente seems to be the most likely replacement now.

In an interview in the Observer last Sunday Jol said that he loves England and he's holding out for a job there.

Though how anyone can be happy living in Chigwell is beyond me.

I saw that - he also said he want's to return as Spurs manager when the current board has gone but Paul Robinson was in one of the London freesheets (can't remember which) tonight slagging him and saying that Ramos has already improved the team in two weeks of taking over.

(He had a few scares in his first game though - 2-0 against the mighty Blackpool in the League Cup and I was there keeping very quiet in the home stand....)

Thta's actually a good result for us. Much as I would prefer AZ to win (and PSV to drop the points) a small part of me still thinks we might live to regret cheering them on too much......

Indeed.
For today, AZ is not a club that can be dangerous for Ajax in the end of the season, so it would be better for us to see AZ's win against PSV.

But the draw is still a good result.

Half-time score at Philips Stadium: PSV 0, Roda JC 2!

I watched the last fifteen minutes of the first half and Roda are playing them off the park. They created four, five clear-cut chances in fifteen minutes' time and their lead should have been 0-3 or 0-4. I kid you not.

PSV are absolutely shit, especially in defense. Possibly worse than Ajax against NAC. If they play like this at the ArenA next week...

Come on, Roda! Hold on to your lead!

Their opponents were MVV Maastricht, actually. The match was suspended, indeed, but not for the reason you might expect, given the reputation of the Den Haag fans...

The game had to be suspended (after 79 minutes) because the power went down...
