ok, i know is off-topic but hеar: Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has revealed he is on the verge of a move to Bulgarian side Levski Sofia."Playing in the Champions League under coach Stanimir Stoilov, who is a very good friend of mine, will be a privilege for me.Generally, me and my family feel very comfortable in England but why not to accept the challenge called Levski?"

Yeah, but i think Feyenoord cannot afford such a player ,since they are no longer a top and rich club, even not in the Netherlands. PSV have completed a different signing: Danko Lazovic, which i think unfortunately will prove very good indeed both for now and in the long-term future.Van basten schreef:It's better Feyenoord then PSV. Feyenoord declined 50 mln euro bid - report
AMSTERDAM, June 15 (Reuters) -
Dutch soccer club Feyenoord have declined a 50 million euro ($66.5 million) bid, their interim financial manager Peter Vogelzang told a Dutch newspaper on Friday.
"We thought is was too little," Vogelzang was quoted as saying in daily Algemeen Dagblad, adding that he values the club at 150-200 million euros.
"Perhaps they had the impression that there was no way out for us," Vogelzang said, without naming any of the interested parties.
"They (the investors) wanted return and control. Our strategy is that Feyenoord remains a club of the people, without a dominant shareholder."
He said the club has now found a group of financially powerful people that enabled it to invest.
Feyenoord named Bert van Marwijk as coach on Thursday to replace Erwin Koeman, who resigned last month after they finished seventh in the Dutch league.
The 55-year-old will embark on his second spell at Feyenoord, whom he coached between 2000 and 2004, steering them to their 2002 UEFA Cup victory.

I understand what you're saying, but that doesn't add up to €150MM (plus as you mention they get the hoolies thrown in for free).ZoefdeHaas schreef:Understandable considering they have one of the best stadiums, big fanbase, and prominant youth facilities.
The thing that determines a valuation is asset value (the stuff you mention) plus projected cash flow over the next number of years.... and any small league without a massive TV contract will never create a valuation as high as this...

MKKID - be very careful even when the official list is out as this can change due to CL games (hopefully) that are played on Tuesdays. If we play on the Tuesday then there wont be an Eredivisie fixture on the Sunday - could be moved to, in all probability, the Saturday. Suggest you look on UEFA.com for the CL match dates.mkkid schreef:does anybody know when the official date are print as i have flights to book.
Unfortunately you will find that by the time you can book air-flights with any confidence the air fares have become expensive for August through to October. Thereafter, they become cheaper again when the new timetable comes out and you can book straight away. Suggest that you speak to Ray next time he is on your doorstep.
