Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Agree this is crap.
Ajax have already said he wont go for less than 25m euros.
Man U are looking and scouts are at Az on Sunday. But he is just one of a dozen strikers they are looking at.
If we get into the CL I think he will stay one more season.
Juve are not in Europe and would like him on the cheap so the article is crap.

How many articles have we seen of this type about Huntelaar (and also about Babel)? Quite a few, I think. I still think he'll go after next season.SPL schreef:Agree this is crap.

The technical director of f*****g Juventus still insists that he has the agreement with KJH. quite curious, 'cause you previously have to agree with the club on the availability of the player. I mean: Valencia knows that - at the right price - the transfer of Sneijder is possible also for the Ajax board, but in the case of Huntelaar it seems that the clubs never spoke about that.
I expect that van Geel denies soon the whole story, or if his silence continues we have to assume that is all true?

I think that Ajax should either never or wait a long time to deal with Juve after what they did to us with the match fixing ref in the CL and getting Ajax to sell Zlatan. Not to mention their doped players beating us in the 96 Cl final. Besides, Juve don't have the money to buy him after being in Serie B for a year.

this is a true thing, a scandal two years ago demonstred that juventus medical staff was doping their players, particularly with EPO, in the mid-nineties. marcello lippi was the coach, vialli & del piero the stars.
their doctor, mister riccardo agricola, was sentenced guilty in the first steps of italian justice and -UNBELIEVABLE- "not guility" in the final step only beacuse the terms of the lawsuit expired.
this is my country, unfortunately.

You have a good point there. I just figured that they would automatically keep them and try to build.orange goblin schreef:all true.
but don't forget that if they sell buffon or trezeguet, they have the money to build a CL team, trust in me
I think in the end that KJH will stay another year. No team wants to spend 15 million Pounds for a striker except Chelsea. I don't even know where Man U would get the money since they have so much debt and after paying an exhorborant sum for Hargreaves.
If he does move, I think it would be to eiyther Man U or Barca. Barca would only happen if they sold Eto and they would have money plus the "Ajax connection".
For Man U, they would have to get rid of Saha for sure, but that won't give them enough money. They have to clear a space for KJH as he is not going to sit on the bench while Wayne Rooney plays. I have a feeling that Man U are really serious though. I have heard that they are going to get rid of Smith and Saha so they have to buy a striker. Wether it will be KJH or Torres remains to be seen.

The KNVB has handed KJH a suspension of one match, due to accumulated yellow cards (five of 'em, to be precise). He will miss the first league game of the new year, against AZ (home).
But... Ajax claim that, according to their administration, the striker collected only four yellows. The KNVB will check their administration and investigate the matter.

Still alive...
just a rumour to sell papers. Last week Juventus were about to pay 18m
euros.(Man u director said they are not buying anybody in January but in any case they will probably buy Berbatov in the summer from Spurs.)
I believe Ajax have said KJH is rated at least at 25m euros.
According to our press Middlesbrough are going to pay about 20 m euros for Alves so why the Italian and English press think we would sell for less!!
(I see Spurs want Steks but would assume Davids will tell him what he told Urby you need to join a top club and Spurs are not a top club )
