It's hardly their fault. It's our own fault for losing silly away games and for not scoring enough today. It's a straight shoot out in these case and us only producing 3 goals is hardly Championship form.

PSV could hardly buy a goal the last couple of months.

Too many sides in the last 20 years or so have taken the easy option of rolling over in Eindhoven ....... Vitesse have just continued that pathetic tradition.

But ... you are correct that it is primarily Ajax's fault.

fucking hell... it hurts too loose this way. but in the end we have to be honest, we just did not get the job done, plain and simple. before the match we knew we needed to win big to have any chance to win the title, while psv came out firing at all cilinders we just did not and in the end it cost us.

Yeah, that was me but I did correct myself. My fiance was sitting totally bemuzed, not understanding a word, as I listened on Dutch radio. I did point out the 2 "learn Dutch" courses on the shelf and she promised to learn with me.....looks like I need to learn some more...................

ogararu 6.5: good in attacks but sloppy defending

vermaelen5.5: nothing special

urby6.5:good attacking, most energetic got a goal

davids6: energetic but couldnt do much

sneijder6: had some glimpse of brilliance but was in and out of the game

gabri7: imo the best player, worked hard, did most things right

demul5.5:didnt do much

huntelaar6:got a goal, but thats about it

babel6.5:worked hard but wasnt enough

mitea5.5: didnt do much

In at 4:30 am and I got up for this? Last time I'm ever that stupid . In the end, Ajax got what it deserved. Too many missed opportunities over 34 matches. Too many fuck-ups. My one wish is that Ajax will invest in some absolutely ruthless , hungry players. It's clear that arrogance and swagger equals 4 coaches in 6 years. I'm sick of arty-farty football that achieves fuck all. 29 league titles is fine. I love history too , but those 29 shields have no bearing on 2006-07 on field performance. Meanwhile PSV just scooped the shield because our guys don't have what it takes to ruthlessly dispatch their opponents. I thought Ajax was a football club, not the fucking humane society. Excelsior, RKC, Sparta ( three points or two goals, take your pick) two up at Vitesse, can't get over the PSV hump at home unless its the year of a comet or an eclipse, Heerenveen at home. Can't wait to face them again ...oh joy! Screw pretty. JUST WIN BABY!
