it says that they are considering the possibility to loan him. In the article they say that at first Ajax didn't want to even seat and negotiate with River Plate but now they do and they are willing to let Rosales on loan. But they havent reached an economical agreement yet. River just got Figueroa from Villareal and Pasarella (former Argentinian national team coach) is back so it wouldn't be crazy to think that they could get Rosales. Also there are guys from River Plate that have arrived to Amsterdam to especially negotiate over Rosales.
But after hearing Rosales say that he doesn't want to go and looking at Ajax current situation I dont think he'll leave any time soon. Except if Ajax has already a guy that they are going to buy to replace Mauro. Personally I think Rosales will get better game after game, he needs continuity, he was injured and out of the fields for a long time, now he needs to play until he reaches his level and we all know that Rosales in his best level is damn good player.

Everyone here loves Jenner, but does Ajax?
Plus its more of a left winger we need, Mitea is injured and Babel is a dipshit on the left, and we got Rosales atm, and have De Mul and all that peeps coming in.
Looking at the team, we are potentialy better than AZ, and even Feyenoord (not so much PSV).
But it simply can't get organized, its sort of like R.Madrid-talent but no use.

Indeed, it must be said: so far we are the only people in the world talking about Jenner joining Ajax. Ajax never mentioned his name and I don't even think I read a rumour in the press or anything like that.
This is very premature (i.e. it seems like the whole story only exists right here in this thread...)

I know we've been like shooting in the dark with this intense speculation but you have to be logical here, i mean why would ajax even think about loaning their only true right winger???? We bought Huntelaar to play 4-3-3 dident we??? Hell thats one of the main reasons Klaas wanted to come here in the first place.I can only think of two explicable reasons for ajax to consider moving Rosales:
1) They are simply not going to play 4-3-3 for the rest of the season and thus have no need for wingers, making Rosales expendable till a certain point.
2) They already have an eye on another right winger who could replace Rosales in the inmediate future.( De Mul is unavailable till next season)
I would be leaning towards the first option given the fact that we are loaded with center forwards. Still you never know with this team  .

Yeah, I know I was thinking about my post as I was watching the game.
I stand corrected.
Now let's try this again....

I'd like to have 'em both.ozzerdibazio schreef:Mauro Rosales must stay. he was very good last night, and he seems to be getting his form back. I personally dont think Jenner is any better. Who would you guys rather have?
But you're right: Rosales must stay. He was good yesterday, especially in the second half. He doesn't score enough goals, I must admit, but his number of assists is very acceptable.

Ajax has enough holes which will need to be filled without ridding themselves of a good to very good right wing. Right back, for example. Defensive midfield, for example.I always thought assists were a large part of an Ajax wingers game.No question his crosses aren't what they should be...i.e. better and more consistently better. But, I definitely want him in an Ajax kit next year. UNLESS A MUCH BETTER RW ,or 2, BECOMES AVAILABLE.

Mauro on his way out
Right then. It seems like Mauro Rosales' days as an Ajacied are numbered, if not over already: River Plate now claim that they have reached an agreement with Ajax and that Rosales' transfer to Argentina is sealed. Read this report on Sky Sports, which I have just added to the News Links section on the Ajax USA homepage.
We will wait for confirmation in one of the Dutch news sources we deem reliable - and then run it as news on Ajax USA. But Mauro's departure is imminent, that's for sure. A disappointing career at Ajax after all, after a very promising start.

Polish websites say that Rosales' transfer is almost done, and Ajax will get 3 mln euro for him. It is not bad price, I think. But probably still too little money to buy a good rright winger for his place. If Rosales leaves, we'll have only de Mul as a natural right winger (Krohn-Dehli is on loan)...
