I simply call them what they are... Feyenoord. I don't go in for name-calling to begin with, and as Ko has pointed out a few times, Feyenoord has such a tragic, disappointing and frustrating history, that just saying Feyenoord should evoke a feeling of unresolvable frustration.bluedaddy19 schreef:and by the way... why do people keep spelling out f-word? :redcard: let's not say that word in here... kakkerlakken... rotclub... whatever else :xyxthumbs:

Sunday morning, just before 8:00 AM...
Time for some quick breakfast and then: on my way to the ArenA for the combi trains...
This season already is a crap season, we can't change that anymore, but if we can pull it off today it may at least be a crap season with a happy ending. This is the time to make it up to your fans, Ajax!
SO COME ON!! :d1 :ajax:

I have no fingernails left, but it was well worth it.WOO HOO!!!! A magnificent result. After enough late collapses of their own , to pin such a come- from- in -front -to- lose loss on F-word is incredibly satisfying.THANK YOU AJAX for not losing heart when you were down and it was getting late.Very happy for Grygera. To overcome injuries and score a goal, a stunner by all accounts, which may prove critical as the lads try for the CL slot must be incredibly satisfying for him. And Hedwiges Maduro? Mark my words, this kid has star written all over him.Carcajou and I witnessed it in Den Helder last summer. An incredible talent and positionally versatile, just as Ajax like their players.Mature beyond his years.YES!!! YES!!! SWEEEEEEET!!!!
About the F-word,I use F-word because I'll say that other f-word... FUCK...but not that side in 010.Can't stand 'em, never will.
If Fox Sports Report doesn't show the highlights, they're nuts.At least I may be able to enjoy that.

Jaaaa!!!! feyenerd sucked the whole game! Ajax deserved the victory. feyenerd did nothing more than defending, Ajax played really well. Put pressure on the feyenerd defense and they never could get a decent clearance. The two goals were lucky, also bad defending from Escude, who had it really though against kalou.
But what a come-back! At 2-1 to feyenerd, i thought it was over. Ajax played much better, but never was really dangerous. But Grygera made a fantastic goal and Maduro killed feyenerd.
Absolute Man of the match was : Trabelsi, with two assists.

Here goes!bluedaddy19 schreef:btw i cant wait ot find out from menno what happened on the combitrain
The Ajax supporters (1,600) were divided over two trains from the ArenA to De Kuip. 800 on each train. I was on train #1. Just before arrival, less than one mile before De Kuip, some nutters managed to pull the emergency brake, in spite of riot police presence on board. The train was suddenly standing still, furniture was thrown out of the windows and approximately 30 hooligans managed to open the doors and get off the train. There weren't many Feyenoord supporters there. Riot police were on the spot in no-time and secured the area.
Okay. Here's what the police should have done: arrest the group of approximately 30 hooligans, who had gotten off the train and were throwing bricks. If they had done that, the train (with some 770 innocent supporters, who were still on the train and behaved normally) could have pulled into the Rotterdam Stadion train station, which was only a few hundred metres away.
Here's what they actually did: they did not arrest anyone, but attempted to get everyone back on the train. A sort of 'cat and mouse' game was the result: fans running away from the train and back again, the police chasing them. The train was there, standing in the middle of Rotterdam, near De Kuip, for well over an hour.
The result: Feyenoord fans saw the train standing there and had plenty of time to call their mates with their cellphones. Increasing number of Feyenoord hooligans arrived on the scene. They never came close to our train, though. There were no fights and they were too far away to throw bricks. They only managed to fire a few rockets.
Train #2, meanwhile, was approaching Rotterdam, but received orders to stop outside of the city, until the 800 on train #1 were safely inside the away section. It took so long that the mayor of Rotterdam made his second big mistake: he ordered that train #2 returned to Amsterdam. Result: it went off big time aboard train #2. They destroyed the doors, broke out. Apparently, they've been fighting the police and caused trouble for the rest of the afternoon. I called a guy who was on train #2. At 4:00 PM they were still outside on the tracks. There's been no train traffic from Amsterdam to Rotterdam all afternoon.
Back to train #1...
After an hour everyone was finally back on board and we pulled into Rotterdam Stadion, the train station in front of De Kuip. There was a f#cking army of Feyenoord hooligans there. Hundreds of 'em. We were pelted with bricks and rockets and on both sides of the fence there were several attempts to break through.
We were now standing in the 'lock chamber' in between the railway station and the steel tunnel to the away section and - to cut a long story short - that's where we would for the rest of the afternoon. It was soon announced by the police that the mayor had decided we were not welcome inside and were going to be transported back to Amsterdam.
Our train, however, was no longer 'intact' at this point, so they started to arrange city buses for us. This took a long time. We were standing outside, right in front of the stadium, listening to the game on the radio. The buses finally arrived around the 75th minute. We heard Feyenoord score the 2-1 when it was our turn to hop on a bus - and a few minutes later we were on our way back to Amsterdam, on a bus full of Rotterdam coppers. We were listening to the radio and it was great to celebrate the equalizer and the game winner, I must say... Everyone very happy after all.
But the problem wasn't solved yet. The buses arrived so late that they couldn't put all 800 of us on transport before the final whistle. After the game an outraged horde of Feyenoord fans stormed out of the stadium and attacked the 'lock chamber', where some 200 Ajax fans were still held. A few guys on my bus were in touch with a few other who were still there and apparently Feyenoord almost managed to break through the fencing.
That's the story, pretty much... Can't say it was a dull day.
I wonder what's going to happen now: the cops took all of our season tickets (orders from Ajax). I've been told that they wanted the season tickets of everyone on train #1, so that they can use the photos on them to identify the hooligans on the video footage the police were taking. Which would mean I am safe. I never left the train and didn't do a thing. Wonder how (and when) I will get my season ticket back, tho.
Anyway: it sucks that we missed the game, but to be honest with you I am extremely happy with this win - and especially the way in which we booked it.

Its pretty nasty in rotterdam. First the ajax fans demolished a train. Then a feyenerd fan had a sort of firework-bomb with him, but it exploded outside the stadium in his pocket! Seriously injured at the hospital at the moment. Originally two trains departed from amsterdam, the second never arrived. the first train was led to a lock and the fans were kept there inside. then they braked out of the train and walked over the rails. After that the police used teargas to control the group of supporters. The supporters were driven together and when the game was finished, feyenerd supporters came around to start a little fight. the group of ajax supporters (?) is now driving home with busses to amsterdam.
So sad, so sad. A beautyfull afternoon disturbed by some lunatics.

Thank you Menno and Gangsta for the commentary. If ever there was an idea to scrap the combi set-up,this will probably bury it for quite a while.Even if it was the aforementioned lunatic fringe that should bear the brunt of the attention,i.e. concentrate on the few rotten apples not the 770 or so innocents on Menno's train and the large number of innocents on the other, I'm sure there will be calls to ban the Ajax away support as a punishment, introduce stronger police presence, tighten combi rules,etc...
A crying shame to have to devote ink to such a sad situation on a day that Ajax showed tons of heart and determination. That should be THE BIG STORY!!

can you give me the link for the torrent files? Thanks. For the moment, i can only download the goals from www.geocities.com/supershota
It sounds pretty nasty in rotterdam from the story told by Ko as I'm in Australia and can only update the score and news from livescore and this great forum. It looks like every year the problem with the hooligans is getting worse. Such a pity if a classic match is ruined by a bunch of hooligans and we are not allowed to celebrate the win in De Kuip, which will be such a great pleasure. haha..
Anyway. What a great win for us. I'm quite sure we will hang on the 2nd spot and won't let it go again this time. Couldn't wait for the highlights video. thanks

AZ dropped points againt NAC Breda, that is a very good result.
About the hooligans problem: it seemed that it was over for a while. No serious incidents, combi-trains worked well. But i don't understand why peole have to demolish a train? What did the train do wrong? You have to be singing and cheering in a train.
The result of this day could be that the police or mayor can decide that no away-supporters are allowed in the stadium. And after these incidents I can't blame them.....

And what about the idiots that demolish a train? That was the reason why they weren't allowed to get into the stadium! But those supporters have a huge lack of brains and therefore they ruined it for themselves. And what about the costs for the community for these games? Extra police, extra trains. So much trouble for a small piece of supporters, and they f*ck it up.bluedaddy19 schreef:GangstaRiB schreef:AZ dropped points againt NAC Breda, that is a very good result.

If away-supporters are banned, there will be no more police necesary and maybe families with children can return to watch a game.

do you mean the inital 30 idiots? because they could have been removed from the scene with no further incident, but the mayor screwed that up - in addition, those people were actually taken to the stadium and were going to be allowed in... of course they weren't, and instead were paraded and held in the line of fire
do you mean the train#2 people who were being sent home for no good reason? yes, they were out of hand, but the mayor made this situation out of thin air with his arrogant incompetence
as Ko said, this should have been an arrest of 30 stupid people and let's move on... but no, assface had to make an ordeal out of it
i mean, do you really think that a train full of AJAX supporters are just gonna sit as lame ducks in the middle of town for hours and hours? give me a break
i am not excusing the train #2 people... but i understand - as Ko also said, there was mobile contact between trains so the train #2 people (also probably somewhat drunk) knew they were easy targets
hell, to them, this might have seemed an organized ambush - this derby was always going to be a powder keg, and yes, i totally blame mayor fartknocker for throwing the lit match on it - people in such positions are supposed to act wisely and properly
