Finally today's news Gerald Alders,Jong RB ,has extended his contract to 2028 and will finish the season on loan at Twente.There is no option to sell,Ajax want him back and the experience will do him good. He can also play LB and MF

5 Jong Ajax players being released.Brandes and Speksnijder who's contracts are up plus Boerhout,Jermoumi and Chahid all had 1 year options to 2026 but the club are not taking the options up and releasing them . These are the 5 I would have expected to be released.

Ajax and Brobbey have reached agreement on a summer transfer. I did not see any mention of a possible fee. One of the clubs mentioned was Betis!! What a come down compared to Ajax.

I think his agent said he should not go to the top but intermediary level like Betis or Seville. Maybe Crystal Palace, Bournemouth Fulham level might pay 20 to 25 m for him.
He is paid over 3m pa and a contract to 2027 .If he stays we would need to extend his contract but they will not increase his salary hence sell this summer.

That makes sense but I think only the English clubs could pay €25M for him. Sevilla is a mess and just fired another manager. They are in 14th place and too far away from any chance at Euro football. Bettis are in sixth, might be able to catch Villareal for fifth which would be Europa League. I have no idea what their finances are like. Just thinking of who needs to be sold this summer and the Mislintat dross is going to take some selling. 6 out on loan,Medic Mannsverk,Akpom ought to be sold.Sosa Forbs may be a problem .Avila on loan to December and will likely stay out on loan . V d Boomen earns 2.2m and will get more next season in CL and he wont go anywhere.I think he is rubbish . Only positive he is under contract to 2027 the others all 2028.
Sutalo and possibly Gaaei are the only 2 who can stay and even then I dont rate Gaaei much.
We have a squad of 25 currently but without speculating Gorter, Rugani,Wijndal, Kaplan , Brobbey and Rasmussen will all go if we can get anyone to buy them plus v d Boomen. That leaves 18 but if I can then speculate some of them may go ie Hato, Taylor ,Henderson ,Matheus,Gaaei, Klaassen even Weghorst does not want to be back up.
Mislintat plus Hamstra and Huntelaar in 2022 have made a hugh mess and frankly the fact we will finish at least 2nd is a miracle. Many fans are anti Kroes but we are not an EPL side where all financial rules are broken . He has a hugh job this summer and it will likely take another year for him to sort out the mess.
By 2026/27 I am positive some real talent will break through,at least Ajax are concentrating on their youth again which is a hugh positive.
