Lost 2-0 to 1st half goals. subs used Jetten ,with a head injury after 15 mins so alders came on. 2nd half subs Ugwu for Jermoumi,Boerhout for Steur,Speksnijder for Rijkhoff,Kolokoh for Konadu and Chorak for Verkuijl.

Jong really struggling, posters on Showtime moaning like hell but we have a far too young side this season .With U19 youth side back this season we will then have 19 year olds moving up next season ,the extra year of youth must make a big difference.

Jong Ajax beat Wolves 3-0 last night in the International Premier U23 Cup.Banel got 2 and Chourak the other.Just Spurs to play in a couple of weeks time

Home to De Graafschap and Mannsverk is playing having been out since mid August.Not really impressed with him but he needs to keep fit and get a chance.

Missing ,Faberski suspended. Mokio picked up an injury last week, Jetten went off with a head injury just over a week ago,Konadu and Rijkhoff not known but must be unfit.

Steur is likely to get only 45 mins which is unacceptable the kid should be starting has real talent and I would let him have minutes next week v Telstar in the cup.

Totally forgot the match was on ESPN NL tonight. Anyway, I caught the final 25 minutes and Jong Ajax wins 2-0. Second goal came right at the death with a nice feint by Bounida (his first match at this level and he came on with five minutes to go) and easily got past his man and shot low and to the right of the keeper who could not save it. Rasmussen got the match winner in the 12th minute. Defense did well in the time I watched and Setford was alert in the goal. Good to see Mannswerk back and playing. He's not great but much better than van den Boomen at #6.

We beat 3rd in table 2-0 and now are 15th above the 3 other Jong sides. Rasmussen on 12th min gave us the lead and we held on for over 80 mins and then in the 97th and final minute Bounida on debut with a fine goal. He came on 10 mins from the end for Banel.

Other subs Rasmussen Mannsverk and Hlynsson all played 45 mins with Speksnijder,Brandes and Steur coming on . Vink for Kalokoh in the 2nd half also came on.

This win gives the Jong a boost and now Ajax must extend Bounida's contract. A creative MF and with Mokio and Steur some hope for the future .

Unlucky 2-1 defeat .Oss scored after 53 mins but Bounida ,who had just come on got a lovely goal on 63 min. Sadly Setford gave away a soft penalty with a push, doesn't sound as if it was a pen. Having saved a penalty in the 1st half Oss scored with this one and won the game.

Bounida came on for Steur and other subs Brandes for Mannsverk at HT,Vink for Kalokoh, and late on Mokio for Alders and Speksnijder for Chourak.

It was stupid of Setford. You can watch the highlights on YouTube and he was barely touched by the Top Oss player as he was going to the front of the box to play the ball out. He gave the opponent a hard shove which is a foul under the rules of the game. The CR could have elected to just warn Setford but went straight for a YC and since it was in the box it is a PK by definition. Harsh in my opinion.

Ajax U21 Premier league Cup game v Spurs is tonight 20.00 CET. and its live on Tv . I will watch it.

5-1 win ,completely outplayed Spurs even their goal was a penalty.We missed many chances. Banel 2, Bounida,Faberski and V d Vaart the goals.

We played quick passing moving the ball quickly up field with Bounida,Steur Faberski all look like real Ajax footballers . Bounida with a great goal must be given a new contract whatever the cost.Berghuis is supposed to be offered 2m pa but not sure any Ajax fans want him.If Kroes keeps him and lets Bounida go then as far as I am concerned Kroes can leave asap.

Apart from Sutalo the only players who will realise money in our 1st team come from our academy.

I caught most of the 2nd half. Roda were really trying to get the equalizer but Reverson was alert in goal and made several good saves. Faberski put things to bed in extra time with a fine shot that the keeper could not save. there are some fine talents on this team.

A fine 3-1 win .After the early goal they got theirs on 8mins .Rijkhoff a pen on 28 made it 2-1 and we did seem to be hanging on a bit at the end with Reverson making a few good saves. Was expecting a late Roda goal but on 91 mins Bounida set Faberski up for a nice goal 3-1.

subs Ugwu for injured Bouwman on 29 and on 65 Jetten,Brandes and Bounida for Mokio,Steur,Rijkhoff .

We finish the break 16th on 21 points.1 behind AZ and Gd ahead of PSV . Utrecht on 13 points are 19th and would be bottom if Vitesse did not have so many penalty deductions.

Match is on Dutch ESPN and Jong Ajax are ahead 0-1 on a nice cutback pass from Jetten to Bonida (on for Alders who suffered a bad head collision with the AZ striker) who drilled it home. Hope we can extend Bonida. Steur is playing very well and maybe will be the next and better version of Taylor.

Poor second half for Jong Ajax. Two major errors result in 2 goals for AZ that were enough to win it 2-1. Brandes did not pick up the free MF on the first goal and Setford mad a poor decision kicking the ball right to an AZ player resulting in a free man in on goal. JA had some chances in the final 10 minutes but shots were blocked or missed. Banel made a lot of bad decisions. Only sure players from this group are Steur, Faberski, Janse & Bonida. Ugwu is interesting at RB and Jetten at LB. the remainder are not good enough.

I was impressed with him in the Futures Cup last spring. He is still unpolished but physically very strong.
