A good friend of mine moved to Haarlem last year. My plan B (which my friend doesn't know yet) is to use his home address to order whatever online Dutch football package I'd need.

AFAIK you can't.

You can only order a bundle of internet and TV, which comes with a "koppelcode" to access ESPN watch.

You might be able to use your friend's koppelcode if he doesn't need it.

Let me know if you find another way!

I’ll still watch the Dutch steams (coverage is much better) but at least I have ESPN for watching on delay now.

It's the yearly summer turmoil for US Ajax fans. ESPN+ has confirmed that it's not carrying the Eredivisie this season.

Ok using this Indonesian streaming service which is seemingly legal to watch in the UK and Italy.

Sign up and it's free for now at least. Watching it from the UK (vpn) currently and it's working well so far.

I have the Disney/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle so it's a little cheaper that way. We stopped our Cable TV last year and only stream stuff now. The cost is about a wash as my wife wants more streaming choices!!!!

EDIT: you still need IPTV for the Cup matches as those are not on ESPN+

Does anyone know if the Eredivisie has a TV contract for the upcoming season? The ESPN contract expired last June and to my knowledge has not been renewed. this would impact whether US ESPN carries games or not.

We will have to see whether US ESPN carry matches this season; I hope so.

I thought Eredivisie was still reviewing both the options. From what I remember, Menno Geelen and some director from AZ (?) were leading negotiations for the all the clubs.

Agreed, but I think the calculation is they can make more money selling rights to a third party. IIRC, BeIN sports had the rights to Beker matches last year but that doesn't help me as we don't have cable TV any longer and our provider dropped BeIN anyway. We'll see how things shake out in the next couple of weeks. I still have my IPTV subscription if it comes to that.

I had to make do with IPTV alone last season. It was OK but not great. I’d say I missed around 5 matches completely, where it dropped out and I had to make do with highlights on YouTube, and most games I tried to watch were interrupted by glitches at some point.

The thing I miss the most is the ability to watch the games on demand, because of the time difference.

I just checked the ESPN+ streaming schedule and the Ajax-Heracles match is on it. Looks like ESPN+ will carry the league matches this season!!!! Good news for those of us in the US.

Don ,t know of it is posted anytime earlier, but on youtube excellent ajax games from the 80's in short. tears in my eyes for cruijff , rijkaard, olsen ,schrijvers etc
