Bergwijn is off to Spurs. My Spurs mate has already texted me says it not a rumour. I pointed out he is an Ajax youth so was taught proper football in the Ajax football factory.

Not sure he is Spurs standard but they dont pay out money for World class players

eriksen off to inter. surprising the spurs didn't try harder to keep him, he's still only 27. transfer sum of 20 million, of which we get 2 million due to 10% sell clause. also get 150k from the bergwijn transfer.

i'll enjoy watching him sitting on the bench at the spurs, followed by a few years in turkey or russia, followed by a return to the netherlands to play for vvv venlo. third class winger whose type we produce 3-4 every year. not good enough at ajax, showed how good he really is when he needed to step up at psv this season. best things in your career are already behind you steven, enjoy the rest

Barry Hulshoff has died aged 73. A central defender from that great era of 1971 to 73 .To me those players in that period ,when the world discovered Ajax ,are all Gods and not just greats. Johann, Piet Keizer,Gerry Muhren and now Barry Hulshoff all now gone.

Barry lived in Abcoude and was Matthijs de Ligt's mentor.

Sadly Wim Suurbier has died aged 75 ,did not recover from a stroke.Our great right back in that 70's team and probably the best RB we ever had

Zeefuik ,who left us for Groningen has joined Hertha Berlin for 4m and we get 1.85m to be exact.Good money together with 8m for Botman for 2 players who were reserves.

Not a former first team player, but Ki-Jana Hoever looks to be leaving Liverpool for Wolves. He should have stayed at Ajax.

Had he stayed he would now be in Jong Ajax but earning a lot less money.

Of course it was wrong, he would have learned and grown with Daley Blind as his mentor. Botman had a contract to 2023! So by 2022 he probably would have been a starter!

barca are in such deep shi* that there is talk of frenkie being sold to bayern. he has a 400 million buy-out clause but that won't happen of course. if bayern offer 50-60 barca will take it.

el Ghazi has been on a tear for Aston Villa with some great goals over the last month. They now stand in fifth place in the EPL!!! I always liked him as a player.

Seems like Botman could be joining Liverpool for 25m euros. So,he leaves us in September, as he is 3rd choice LCD, plays about 20 games for Lille and he is suddenly Liverpool standard!! Liverpool were looking at Schuurs even though most articles and comments from fans say Schuurs is not good enough for Ajax.
