Won't it be surreal if Benfica draw AZ and lose to them? AZ would then help Ajax get into Pot 2 and we will hear about that for at least the next 10 years.

If Benfica get knocked out of the CL in the qualifying round they will be in financial trouble. they just gave a three year contract to Edson Cavani who is 33 at €10m per year. Their wage bill must be pretty high now and they are hoping for CL money to cover it. Amazing that they pay such high money for players over 30.
