Re: Ajax on Television (+ Webcasts, YouTube etc.)
ESPN+ is scheduled to carry Eredivisie matches again this season. I think the plan on having four matches each week with the big three, Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord carried plus an additional match. This is good news for those in the US as the streams are of high quality. The contract does not extend to the Beker competition or the Johan Cruyff cup so we will still have to search out streams for those games.
It's not clear how we will watch the upcoming Champions League qualifiers. B/R Live carries all the group stage matches for a fee but I'm not sure about the qualifiers.

That's excellent news about ESPN+! We definitely got spoiled last year after using dubious internet streams for the many years preceding that.
I wonder if a Spanish language channel will show Ajax's CL qualifiers since we now have Edson 'Machin' Alvarez in our team.

No football scheduled for this weekend, so good moments to post some great videos now and then.
Football legends in category 1 never stop playing football when they finish their career. Ajax legends have a big role in most of this video:

Re: Ajax on Television (+ Webcasts, YouTube etc.)
Today Ajax posted another epic fight in Madrid, an incredible victory in Vicente Calderon.
Our Ajax players Babangida, Melchiot, Musampa, Wooter and John Veldman suffered a lot of racism from the stands by the Atletico fans.
But at the end an epic victory after 120 minutes. Just watch how Esnaider fouls Richard Witschge after Van der Sar saves his penalty and then only
gets a yellow card from the ref.

Hope you're all well! I was locked out of my AT account for a while (big thanks to Raymon for getting me back in).
Today, I got this email from Fox: https://www.foxsports.nl/acties/abonnees
Guess you're all looking forward to watching some football, too?

To summarise, they are discontinuing the internet-only Fox Sports subscription which I've been using to watch eredivisie since 2012-ish. So, I'm on the lookout for a way to watch eredivisie *IN DUTCH* from next season. Be great to hear if anyone knows anything. I have a private IP address in the Netherlands so geoblocking is not an issue.

Re: Ajax on Television (+ Webcasts, YouTube etc.)
My concern here in the US is that ESPN may elect not to carry Eredivise matches next season. It's on their pay streaming site and I don't know what the viewer ratings are.

Re: Ajax on Television (+ Webcasts, YouTube etc.)
It should all be online, but the cable tv companies love their “bundle” model, where you have to pay for all sorts of crap you don’t want just to get the football channel. It’s a bit like going back to the late ‘90s and early 2000s.
At this stage I guess I will watch illegal streams but that means you can’t watch the games on delay, which I do for the games that are in the middle of the night.

Re: Ajax on Television (+ Webcasts, YouTube etc.)
I found a way around this. It's a bit of a faff, but If any of you are stuck for a semi-official eredivisie stream I'm happy to explain it, just send me a PM.Tom_ schreef: ↑za mei 30, 2020 2:40 amTo summarise, they are discontinuing the internet-only Fox Sports subscription which I've been using to watch eredivisie since 2012-ish. Re: Ajax on Television (+ Webcasts, YouTube etc.)
it's at least 3 people

but honestly, i think there are more folks watching the eredivisie than we think. i know in nyc, there is quite a big dutch/ajax contingent. they even have their saturday afternoon dutch soccer outing in the central park. i was in greenwich, ct, this past weekend and ran into 3 ajax supporters in a bar. i was wearing my ajax face mask so they came over to chat. i'd be more worried about espn stopping the coverage of the danish and swedish league. i think we'll be ok.

I already checked ESPN+'s schedule and they have 2 Eredivisie games on Saturday the 12th and 2 on Sunday the 13th. I think we'll be ok this season.
Re: Ajax on Television (+ Webcasts, YouTube etc.)
Do any of you folk who've been watching on ESPN+ know if you can watch the full matches on demand?
Haven't got access to ESPN.nl (yet) so I'll try a VPN and ESPN+, but the time difference is not friendly for this week's game.

Re: Ajax on Television (+ Webcasts, YouTube etc.)
They are available in the US for a period of time but I don't know how long, I believe they would be available on the same day the match is played.
