Re: Abdelhak Nouri
A beautiful but sad interview by Donny in deTelegraaf. It appears on Ajaxshowtime ,no idea how to post it here in english.
Donny talks to Appie's family everyday but doesn't see him so much because it effects him greatly to see him and he doesn't sleep afterwards. Donny badly misses his best mate and the interview is very sad with Donny speaking from the heart.Well I shed a tear or 2.
Tonight they get that 34th title for the little man.

Re: Abdelhak Nouri
Donny about the celebrations with the fans at Museumplein, how special it was to honour Nouri at this place and that next still playing in Amsterdam would be a very good option for next season:

Re: Abdelhak Nouri
Appie's brother and father on the stage with the players a lovely gesture.

Yes.SPL schreef:Appie's brother and father on the stage with the players a lovely gesture.
That gave emotional scenes at Museumplein like these:

Perhaps filmed from this angle it is even nicer. De Ligt holding a short speeche and then handing over the throphy to the Nouri family:

Re: Abdelhak Nouri
Appie Nouri videos keep popping up on my YouTube feed!!!
There was one I watched last night which had Nouri, van de Beek and de Ligt and they must have been about 10 or 11 years old. It looked like de Ligt was being used as a forward and Nouri displayed a lot a acrobatic play even at that age. It always brings a tear to my eye to think about what might have been.

Appie Nouri will forever be remembered for his grace and humanity on and off the pitch!
Re: Abdelhak Nouri
At the end of the cup final they were taking pictures of various players with the cup, and there was Donny and Frenkie together. I sat there thinking someone is missing there should be a 3rd one there and a tear or 2 was shed.
I have to admit that although the Spurs late winner hurt like hell for me like all of us but the next day many Dutch guys posting the worst thing ever for our club. I have to admit that morning I realised what happened to Appie was a million times worse than losing a CL semi.
I am still gutted over that game but have got over it as we won the title.I will never get over the feeling of that July day in 2017 when I saw the headline about Appie.

If you have watched Nouri (or Cruyff) videos before, Nouri and Cruyff videos keep popping up on YouTube.
Do you also know this Nouri video Orange14?

Re: Abdelhak Nouri
Or perhaps this one filmed in January 2015 on the day Appie extended his contract.

Anwar El Ghazi scored for Aston Villa in their promotion play-off win to get them promoted back to the Premiership. In his post game interview he wore a t-shirt with Nouri 34 on it in tribute of his friend...

More Nouri, Cerny, Donny, Frenkie, Mateo Cassierra, Pelle Clement, Carel Eiting and Donny van de Beek in action at Jong Ajax vs Achilles'29

Was that de Ligt, #3, in defense? Hard to tell because there were only a couple of pictures of him.Cruijff schreef:More Nouri, Cerny, Donny, Frenkie, Mateo Cassierra, Pelle Clement, Carel Eiting and Donny van de Beek in action at Jong Ajax vs Achilles'29

Ajax is playing mindf#cks with your older growing brain a couple times a day Orange14!

Or at least a couple times of every 90 minutes you watch.

I remember you were surprised that Benfica vs Ajax was 1-0 at half time, because for 45 minutes you had been watching Ajax - Benfica, a game you already saw two weeks earlier.

Ajax playing in away shirts both at the home and away game confused you, but I expect you to see the difference between Johan Cruyff Arena and Estadio da Luz in less than 0,14 seconds.

Recently you referred to this video, there they also fool you. Because of an age difference of 3 years De Ligt and Nouri did not play in the same youth teams. But they showed up together in Jong Ajax line-ups a couple times.
Even their debut game was the same match. Ajax - Willem II KNVB Beker. As true Ajacieden De Ligt scored at his debut with a header, Appie came in as a sub and everybody remembers what Nouri did with that free kick Schöne gave him, of course.
Re: Abdelhak Nouri
I do remember that and Orange14 was getting upset at us because he thought we were reading the score incorrectly or collectively watching the wrong gameCruijff schreef:I remember you were surprised that Benfica vs Ajax was 1-0 at half time, because for 45 minutes you had been watching Ajax - Benfica, a game you already saw two weeks earlier.Orange14 schreef: Was that de Ligt, #3, in defense? Re: Abdelhak Nouri
That definitely was De Ligt at #3. That was Bosz in the stands so definitely the right year for De Ligt to be playing in that game.Orange14 schreef:Was that de Ligt, #3, in defense? Also unique material... although for more football moments it is better to tube the highlights of the same match.
Cerny, Nouri, Van de Beek and their Ajax Under 19 teammates giving a football lesson to FC Barcelona Under 19.
Back then Onana played for the opponent.
Re: Abdelhak Nouri
Not many people saw Nouri like this, I suppose.
And also in the episode with Touzani and Ziyech you saw that Appies headers were stronger than Hakims.
