Well anything would be better than the current revolting away shirt.When you have the best ,most easily recognised and most iconic shirt in football all our away shirts are revolting.I would say this new one is not bad.

I really like the away kit. I'm torn between the new home and away kits and just might have to buy both.

the powder blue away kits were always my favorite. I think the last time they were used was 2011-12.

In a slightly strange turn of events, Ajax's new beer sponsor is Budweiser. €12 million over 6 years. Apparently, Ajax is the first team in Europe to be sponsored by Budweiser.

Of course Heineken still has the deal with JC Arena and that the beer which will continue to be served there. I'm guessing Bud will be served at De Toekomst.

We have a new sleeve sponsor for the next 3 years - The Curacao Tourist Board. I saw the announcement on twitter

I have to admit, I do not like that logo on our shirt sleeve. Looks super tacky.

Curaçao pays 2m per year and provides annual training camp. This I like. I've been to Aruba twice but never to Curacao. This gives me a good reason to go to Curacao during training camp

Ajax is now using Pele Soccer (never heard of them before TBH) to sell merchandise in the US. The NYC store is a mere 10-15 minute walk from my apartment. A definite visit over the weekend

you beat me to is Amol! i just saw it on instagram while spacing out on a work TC. it's a 34 minute walk for me as i'm on the uws, but i think i might go down today. i badly need the new away shirt and some more PPE

Good to have a store in the US. I'm down in Bethesda and we are not traveling right now. My wife's 96 year old mother lives right near Union Square so when we do get up, I'll check out the store!! I just ordered my new home shirt from the Ajax on line store.

btw did anyone try to go to that time square store that supposedly has an Ajax fan shop. I swung by twice, and closed both times. what a joke. when are they actually open so you can buy something?

I did go last Sunday and picked up home jerseys for me and my 7 year old. It's not what they make it out to be, in terms of all the Ajax merchandise available.

update: i got the away jersey a few days ago. it's nice. the quality is good, will not pull as easily as last year's home jersey. very unique, we didn't have anything similar i'd say since the 1997 away jersey (which is still my favorite and one i wear often).
i was also pleasantly surprised by the home jersey. still hate the collar, but the material is pretty nice

The collar on the new home jersey is not good. I wear it almost every morning when I go out for my walk and find that the stitched seam chafes. Adidas did a poor design job with this one. It's the first time I've ever had this issue with an Ajax home shirt.

The collar looks really awkward and rather bulky. Sucks that it chafes. Maybe it’ll get better with a few washes

I didn't like the collar of this year's jersey at all. Only bought it to support Ajax with whatever money they get from jersey sales.

Pele Soccer did have the away jersey as well. I have avoided Times Square for years and years now. Only went because I had to go to the store.

Adidas has already made more of the new European jerseys available for sale. I'm in the queue in ajaxshop.nl to purchase

Was able to finally purchase the new European jersey today! There were still site issues and my credit card issues rejected my first couple attempts because it thought those were fraudulent charges

Went back in queue and the site initially said my size was sold out. Luckily I tried again 10 minutes later and voila - available again.
