The Slovak team that Feyenoord lost to, Trencin, is owned by former Ajax winger Tscheu la Ling!!!! Dutch will likely take another hit in UEFA points unless Ajax and PSV somehow get some good runs in.SPL schreef:Vitesse losing to Basel was always likely but AZ and Fword being ko'd by small teams a bit pathetic. Just Ajax and PSV left in Europe.

PSV has scored an important away goal at Bate Borisov. Currently tied 1-1 at HT.
These are important points for the Netherlands.

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
PSV are up 1-2 now. 83rd minute.
Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Wow - it ended 2-3 after 8 minutes of injury time!
Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Not convinced by PSV midfield, they are too slow in moving the ball but in the end they took care of business.

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Excellent result for PSV. They’re in a good position for the home leg. I hope getting into the CL will help them hang on to Lozano this season.
Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
PSV has a knack of saving themselves with a game winning goal very late in the game.

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
PSV again with the goal in stoppage time to win the match today!! Will this story ever end?

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Did anyone watch the game? PSV were so lucky not to lose. Really annoying.
Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
They were lucky indeed but Ajax gained 3 extra points last week due to VAR.
Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Not sure where to post but 1st round of the cup we play away to amateur side HVV Te Werve from Rijswijk near Den Haag .They are in league level 7 ,2nd division of the amateur leagues, not to be confused with league 2 of semi pro which is level 3 .
Have we played such a low level side before.

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
PSV thrashed Willem II 5-1 Viergever with a brace. They are the team to beat, although I doubt they will qualify in their group of death in the Champions league, even Europa league chances are slim for them.
Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
PSV running amok in Den Haag, 0-5 at the 75th minute. Ajax has it all to do again this week. Not sure that we will be favored in Eindhoven.
EDIT: PSV get two more goals to end the match at 0-7.

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
I hope I end up wrong here, but I guess PSV will get a classic late winner again tonight....

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Yes, the got the winning goal in the 87th minute and won it 2-1. Both PSV goals were a result of major mistakes by Groningen. Groningen were up 1-0 with a PK but former Ajax youth player Malen got the tying goal in first half extra time. Groningen had some chances to score a second but it wasn't to be. PSV still have to play Feyenoord and AZ but they could easily go undefeated in the first half of the season.souras84 schreef:I hope I end up wrong here, but I guess PSV will get a classic late winner again tonight....

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Will any team in the Eredivisie defeat PSV? They beat 10 man Heerenveen 3-0 tonight. They face Barcelona in the Champions League this week and a defeat essentially puts them out of Europe. As they are out of the Dutch Cup as well, only the league matters. I do think Ajax win at home but that may be the only blemish.

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Is there a word for having pleasure in seeing a team you don't like scoring against a team you like even less...?
"Feyenoordgevoel"?

"Feyenoordgevoel"?

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Feyenoord win over PSV 2-1 but I suspect there will be considerable controversy. PSV scored at about the 72nd minute and then three minutes later broke in on goal. Bulow made the initial save and then someone from the stands threw a second ball onto the pitch and PSV's attempt to deal with the rebound off the save was snuffed out. Not sure the match official can do anything about this type of behavior and I wonder what the NVNB will do about it. Donyell Malen had two good attempts to tie the game up but shot wild in both cases.

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
I can't believe we all were rooting for Feyenoord today. I thought the 2nd ball on the pitch incident was a disgrace and shows you the mentality of the cockroach fans. I hope they get punished for it.
Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Just seen the result, good old Feyenoord doing Ajax a big favour
Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
The day finished well Feyenoord lost at home to Sittard and most of England cheered as Man U lost.
Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
I watched the Liverpool/ManU game and ManU is just plain poor. Amazing that they spent so much money on Paul Pogba and he sat on the bench all match.SPL schreef:The day finished well Feyenoord lost at home to Sittard and most of England cheered as Man U lost.

Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
Its a shame that we lost to them 2 years ago. This current team would've easily won the Europa League final against them.Orange14 schreef:I watched the Liverpool/ManU game and ManU is just plain poor. Re: Other Eredivisie Teams
I watched the PSV-AZ game today hoping AZ would do us a favor. they dominated PSV for the first 40 minutes going up 0-1 on a nice goal. PSV supporters were angry with their team with lots of whistles as PSV couldn't even get out of their half. Just before the half PSV got a somewhat lucky goal when Bizot parried a shot right back into the field of play and it was an easy conversion to tie the match. They got two more goals in the 2nd half with a penalty by Lozano for the third goal which ended any AZ chance.
