Trying to keep their slim hopes of a league championship alive, Ajax travel to Arnehm to take on Vitesse. PSV play on Saturday, hosting Utrecht. Bad news from the training ground today; Frenkie de Jong suffered ligament injury to one of his ankles in training today. It's not known how long he will be out but the Ajax website report mentioned 'weeks.'

If Erik ten Hag doesn't win this game, then his job is on the line, and if he is sacked, then Van der Sar will resign as CEO of Ajax Amsterdam. The latter is the bright side

Back from what was a sunny Rome, snowed there on Monday but we got there ok and it ended up 15 degrees yesterday. Got home ok, planes flew and trains worked despite bad snow.

The hotel under manager thought the red white and black of my scarf was Man u,I put him right and told him it was a far superior club. We had a great talk about footy,he was an AS Roma fan but had great respect for Ajax.

I did look briefly at Ajax news whilst away and saw Frenkie is out and today KJH still injured.Schone fit but Eiting should still be played.

PSV took care of Utrecht quite easily 3-0. While Ajax are still not eliminated, they are hanging only by a mere thread.

I’m expecting the gap between Ajax and PSV to widen if anything. Not that I think PSV is a better team, but I think Ajax will have a couple more low-scoring draws / losses in the remaining games.

Don’t think Ajax had a particularly bad season, just a bunch of underwhelming results while PSV kept sneaking wins. Oh well.

Wober in for Frenkie but Schone replaces Eiting and the invisible man stays at striker ie Siem de Jong.

I predict a draw and we will then be 9 points behind and only 2nd place to play for.Will the fans call for Ten Hag's head and also v d Sar who is responsible for the coaching mess .

After this game, i expect a rumour roundmill of who will be the next Ajax coach, Bosz will be the first to be rumoured for a return. But I hope Schreuder (Current assistant to ten Hag) becomes interim and somehow miraculously pulls off a title winner on the last game.

Watching the game with a strange emotion -- almost detached -- figure the title race is over, so it's looking on with a 'win would be nice' attitude, but not much more emotional involvement than that.

No AceStream today and the Web Browser links are all buffering too much so I don't know if I can watch the 2nd half or not. I had a stable stream until about the 40th minute. At least Ajax came out to play football at the beginning of the match rather than sleepwalking. The Vitesse goal was a really nice strike and Onana had no chance. There was no replay shown other than the strike so I could not tell why the player was not picked up and who had responsibility for him.

I'll try to see if I can get a good stream otherwise I'm going to watch Barcelona and Athetico Madrid.

Dreadful performance from Ajax.Every game we are getting worse and Vitesse are not sticking 10 men behind the ball ,just playing good football and out playing us.

Apart from we have no striker the other 10 are all good quality players but not performing.Got to say v d Sar has made a big mistake in bringing in this coach. Apart from the 2 Twente games we had been improving under Keizer, not taht he was the right man. Since he got sacked we have gone backwards.

Almost wish I was watching Brighton v Arsenal as its on the same time and Brighton 2-1 up.(I live 10 miles from Brighton) I will sit and watch us and just hope we can get back into the game.

Schone Ziyech and Siem creating zero chances.sky just saying in 51 games under Bosz and Keizer we failed to score in only 2 of thos games. In 7 games under Ten Hag its already 2 out of 7.

If only ten Hag could resign at half time. In any case, no substitutions made, so I expect much of the same, maybe Ajax will score, but highly unlikely to win
