Another friendly lost 3-2 v Belgium 2nd div team Beerschot-Wilrijk,in Antwerp .Muric and Flemming our goals ,their winner came very late in 90th.

A bit surprised that Muric was playing again ,like last week, but no Menig . Sierhuis and Dekker still injured and Pereira the new Brazilian striker has not started with us yet.

The goalie Ricardo Kieboom has been released by Sparta and on trial. No Groothuizen or Leeuwenburgh (injured !)

Jong beat Katwijk 2-1 Muric and Flemming the goals.Mainly the same players used as per Beerschot .Kieboom the trialist goalie played 45 V Bladeren also 45. We do have a lot of spare goalies.

Menig has not been playing ,no idea what he is doing.Injured or a trial elsewhere!!!

League starts tonight 20.00 CET away to Cambuur Leeuwarden Its on tv so will be streams.I will be putting cricket first as my lot,Sussex, are on tv and although I will follow Jong and watch them this season the football wont compare with last season with Frenkie Donny and beautiful little Appie.

Not sure when Sierhuis will be back , cannot find anything regards injuries on the official site. Last weekend our u19 beat Anderlecht U19 8-0 and our new Brazilian striker Pereira scored 3 and Jensen the Danish midfielder 2 (U19 also beat Rosenborg U19 2-1 !)

Pereira's transfer is all agreed but he awaits a work permit.

I have been busy, but just found a stream on cricfree so will look at the 2nd half.

a comfortable 3-0 win ,Flemming the 3rd goal .Boultam for de Wit on 84 the only sub.I got a stream and watched most of the 2nd half,but talking to the wife and a small screen so didn't really take it in enough to comment on the players .

With no Europe Zeefuik Eiting and Cassierra will now be basically Jong Ajax squad (Ist team squad now 20 strong ie Saturdays 19 plus Sinkgraven)

Jong Ajax thus have 27 players although the 2 new South Africans wont play yet and 3 or 4 are still out having had longish injuries .Given 2 or 3 1st team squad will often play there will be many players not getting playing time.
