Well we have a new player , a 16 year old Polish goalie called Mateusz Gorski signed until June 2019 from Wroclaw.

The lad who has played regularly for our U17 ie B1 this season ,Ruijgrok is in the interest of Liverpool.

We always have to give foreign kids aged 16 3 year contracts but still don't with our own !

Hopefully Overmars may pull his finger out and sign a new winger this week .Today I read he is after 20 year old midfielder Anfernee Dijksteel a Dutch lad at Charlton .

No news and we have 4 available forwards . Overmars needed to bring in an experienced striker and another left winger in August .With ElGhazi nearly gone we need a right winger as well.

Ok Sanchez was a good signing . Cassierra not ready. Krul was not fit and a joke signing . Westermann is not as good as 17 year old de Ligt and Traore was bought in as a striker.He is not a striker and not a winger either. In 2015 summer he came up with Sanogo , voted the worst footballer to ever play for us ,in living memory.

We are being asked to pay 20m for some unknown 19 year old Brazilian with little experience. Neres.

2 new 16 year old Hungarians signed today contracts to 2019 ,attacking midfielder Szabolcs Schon and left winger Oliver Horvath . Horvath has been here since last summer but is out with a long term injury .

David Neres 19 year old Brazilian winger to sign for 15m euros ,contract to 2021 .Sao Paulo wanted 20m so will require 20% of any resale .

Just hope he will be a good signing. For 5m we got Sanchez who looks top quality and 5m for Cassierra who does'nt over impress me at Jong Ajax level.

10m seemed high but Ajax have loads of money and desperately want him. We have paid over the odds so lets hope its money well spent. If he makes it we are never going to get a profit unless we sell him for 25m plus.

He is playing at an Int U20 tournament so he may not be here before end of February . We need a winger now but I feel this is a panic signing.

I don't know why they didn't see if Sam Larsson of Heerenveen would come over. He's a known quantity and probably would cost less than the Brazilian. Maybe Neres will turn out OK. Sanchez turned out to be a super bargain and Cassiera is still very young though as SPL notes, it's not certain whether he can make the grade.

We've also picked uo a 17 year old Croat (with German passport) from Bayern called Antonio Trograncic. De Telegraaf calls him the "new Kroos" in their hyperbolic style... Pep G. had him brought over from RB Salzburg when he was 15. He's had a trial with us recently.

Klaassen????????????? Are you referring to el Capitan??? He destroys all midfield flow. I'm sorry but Ajax will never be what we want to see happen as long as he is in the starting 11. I would add that Schöne's skills are rapidly deteriorating and I'm not sure he will be capable of holding down a starting position next season. I would only offer a one year extension using the 'Wenger Rule' (no contracts for players over 30 years of age).

True. Lasse Schöne has much better technical skills than El Capitan.
But Klaassen scores quite easy, despite his lack of technique has a good first touch, brings agression and other positional stuff you can only observe in the stadium, not behind a computer or tv.

Sure -- let's get rid of Klaassen -- he's only the top scorer on the team. He also the team bulldog -- every team needs one -- take out Klaassen and who's going to fill that role -- no one that I can think of. He also covers on defense and makes good runs from the midfield into the box which is how he gets to poach so many of the goals he scores. He's our equivalent of Kuyt -- not the technically most gifted of players, but plays the bulldog role and pops up to poach his share of goals.

I have seen a few videos from Neres and i wasn't very impressed. Now a lot of those videos can be misleading but to be honest i expected to see a lot more especially after finding out that we spend 15 mil for him which is the same amount of money that Bailey was sold to Leverkusen who i rate a lot higher!!

With 12m he is our second most expensive signing. Ajaxdaily listed the 10 most expensive signings of all time. Interesting list. A mix of great signings and some, well not so great. Incredible that we payed half for Suarez that we payed for Sulejmani. Hope Neres will be one of the better signings.

I have seen a few videos from Neres and i wasn't very impressed. Now a lot of those videos can be misleading but to be honest i expected to see a lot more

Videos never show the complete truth.
Especially when players have played over 100 professional games everybody can compilate a nice video of them. Then you could even make Mike vd Hoorn look like a good defender while he is rubbish.

When a player has only played a few matches on the highest level, you can not compilate dozens of goals or fine assist of him. Other things are more important, for example someone's speed and someone's ball control. Keep in mind that over there the pitches can be awful [ like Amsterdam Arena ] so it's in many cases "it is a different cookie" than at the upcoming (away games) with Ajax.

We are signing 2 new kids for Jong Ajax from AZ Tuen Bijleveld MF, and Robin Schouten RB. both 19.Appear to be padding forJong Ajax as we may well see a few Jong players leave.
