New Players for Ajax

Official Ziyech signs for 5 years and we paid 11m euros and no resale clause so when he is sold all the money is ours.I think this a good deal as he was the best player in the league last season.

No rumours of any other players so tomorrow may just see 1 or 2 MF leaving.

17 year old Aussie MF Sebastian Pasquali has joined us from Melbourne. He signs a contract from 1 December 2016 to June 2018.He comes,even though under 18, as he has an Italian passport.

Rumour today that Martin Odegaard the 18 year Real Madrid super talent was coming to us on loan.He had arrived at Amsterdam airport ,hence the rumour,but is to join Heerenvven on loan for the rest of the season.

I believe Ajax have said we will only take on loan players in future with the option to buy like Milik.

I really don't understand why Heerenveen is doing this. As SPL notes, the only way that a club gets any value here is with the option to buy but Odegaard's father, who is his agent, won't ever let that happen. Ajax is already burned by the loans of Traore and Curl this season, paying out large money for salary for players who are not helping the club at all.

An Iranian Midfielder who plays for Östersunds FK in Sweden (Don't think we need another midfielder), and 19-year-old Sport Club do Recife forward Everton Felipe. Good to see Ajax scouting players in Latin America.

Klaas Jan Huntelaar is not enjoying himself very much anymore at Schalke 04. We could take off some pressure of a just 19 years old Danish striker when we bring in some experience and against opponents like Legia Warsaw you are more dangerous with using them both as in many matches our wingers bring nothing.

I wonder if they are seriously looking at Sam Larsson of Heerenveen. He's a pretty decent winger.

I would love to see Huntelaar return. Dolberg indeed cannot keep playing 90 mins every game and we need an experienced striker. Cassierra missed 4 fairly easy chances v PSV , KJH would have scored at least 2 of them .

He may be injured at present and struggling a bit but is still class and would have no problem putting the ball in the net regularly in Holland ,although he would need better service than Traore and Younes

According to reports, Huntelaar will return to Ajax in the summer. Obviously no guarantees, however, with clubs from China offering astronomical salaries. He maybe tempted to move there. The bad news is, he won't be returning for the rest of the season.

Huntelaar has been injured for the last 2 months or so and is still not fit .He is earning 7m a year and Schalke will release him at season's end.

He wont leave Holland ,lives in a village near Arnhem ,Angerlo,where he grew up , and his parents live there. Wife's family live in the next village. KJH gets driven to training by his Dad so he does not have to live in Germany.

We could do with a fit KJH now though.

We are evidently going to sign Israel player Maor Buzaglo.28 year old attacking midfielder cum winger for 1m .He plays for Hapoel Beer Sheva!!

Sorry but this is not the sort of player we need I would rather stick with Kluivert.

We are still looking at South America for a winger with 10m for Brazilian Felipe and 12m for Mexican Lozano too much for us to want to pay!

Our wing position needed strengthening last August. We now have El Ghazi, rumours now going to Lille, Younes who has struggled all season and Kluivert for this Sunday.

Cerny injured ,Traore in Africa and today's news Clement has a hernia and out for 2 months. With Dekker injured and El Idrissi off to Utrecht ,not yet confirmed ,we have zero wingers left from the Jong .

We have offered between 10m and 12 m for 19 year old Brazilian winger David Neres of Sao Paulo. He has played 8 games for them and they want 20m !!!!. This is a joke we are panicking and must keep El Ghazi.

I would rather just play Kluivert until Traore and Cerny are back.

According to a report. The director of Sao Paolo has said no to any bids for David Neres. I really hope we keep El Ghazi, if anything we need a left winger e.g. Sam Larsson of Heerenveen. If El Ghazi does go, then Justin Kluivert will feel a mountain of pressure to perform, so a right winger is needed.

AeG7 has at least 2 more years on his contract, correct? There is no need to sell him right now and I think after his demotion in the late fall he is ready to play hard. If anything, his value should only increase and this summer we might get double of what is being offered right now.

Correct contract to 2019. I think there is a max 15m clause in his contract but he does seem to have turned the corner after being dropped to Jong. If he continues to play like today he would indeed be nearer 15m in the summer,ok 12m but certainly not the 7m we want at present.

There is a report in the Guardian that Ajax have expressed interest in Gerard Delofeu who is with Everton. Everton already turned down Milan so I'm unsure whether Koeman will let him go this January. He's a decent player who came up originally with Barca.

I've seen him play a couple of times. When he's on his game, I think he's better than decent -- especially for the Eredivisie -- can beat his man down the wing and can put in a good cross. If there is any substance to the story, he would be a really good addition.
