Yes this is only a 3rd league team but you can only play what is in front of you.Cerny Nouri looking very good and at the back deLigt looks a beast of a player.

Caught the last 50 minutes. Fun to watch the kids play. Amazing how popular Nouri is with everyone. All the young supporters came out of the stands to get his autograph and picture. He might not get back to Amsterdam until tomorrow!!!

Yes agree how lovely that all the fans could come on to the field at the end and as you say Nouri is the most popular Ajax player. He was my MOM as he set up 4 goals with beautiful accurate passes.

Cerny had a fine game and must replace the ineffective hopelessly out of form El Ghazi on Saturday.Cerny and Nouri both play like this for Jong and are both too good for that league. Donny and Jairo both had good games. de Ligt faded as the 2nd half went on but has only just reached 17 and was a beast in the first half bursting up filed reminds me of Vertonghen.

I am aware of the standard of the K Boys but in the end we eased off in the 2nd and only finished with 6.

Reading the Dutch sites clearly Nouri has made the headlines and Tete Bazoer along with El Ghazi all played poorly.

Sad to say that if those 3 left us this January they would not be missed.If they cannot perform v Kozzakens why should they be in our 1st team squad.

Suarez didn't perform against Kozakken Boys in 2007. Did not score a goal. We only just won in extra time because Rommedahl scored a lucky goal.

It's such a shame that Ajax didn't sell Bazoer to Wolfsburg for big money. Hopefully AC Milan will snap him up in January, clearly there is no place for him at Ajax. El Ghazi can go too, but where to? Who would want him? Same with Tete. Frank de Boer is strongly rumoured to be sacked, since Inter are talking about replacing him. Glad Cassierra scored, he should get more playing time at the senior level.

I see Sandro's point ie Suarez played badly .El Ghazi did not look interested and neither Tete nor Bazoer really played very well or even gave the idea they had a point to prove for being dropped.Contrast that with Cerny, Nouri and also Donny and de Ligt ,they gave there all and showed the hunger in wanting to get to that 1st team.Clement , a somewhat limited player ,also gave his all and was rewarded with 2 goals.

Its very hard for subs to come on for the lasts 20 mins and perform but in recent weeks El Ghazi and Bazoer have come on and frankly have done zero and looked nothing like the players they were this time last season.

Last year they said Bazoer was worth over 25m !! at the time I thought it a joke . We would be very lucky to get 10m for him.Sadly I really dont see anyone wanting El Ghazi and a loan to another Dutch club maybe in order. Tete has Raiola as agent so expect to see him go in January.Finally Riedewald should be back in the team as CD or even LB.

The look on Bazoer's face when he came off was telling. It appeared to me as one of failure and as SPL noted above a total lack of joy compared to the Jong MFs. I think this started at the end of last season when FdB continued to play Klaassen in the final games and not Bazoer despite both playing very poorly. Bazoer's confidence appeared to be shot and I don't think he's recovered from that. I feel bad for the player as he started so well but I really wonder if he has all the skills to make it at Ajax. At this point, I cannot see him moving on to a higher league.

Missed most of the game but saw highlights on youtube. Saw 3 amazing through balls from Nouri and another pass which lead to 4 total goals. I do not remember the last Ajax player who was so good at threading balls through the defense.

Lady luck again smiles down on Ajax. The club drew SC Cambuur in the next round of the Beker Cup. Match will be in mid-December away Leeuwarden. Maybe another chance for the young kids to get a run out.
