Reading the Dutch site agree we have bought in 2 strikers but the best striker is an 18 year old kid . Think he looked far more threatening than Traore .

Traore is much better at hold up play on the ball. I hope that will come with Dolberg. Ajax just have too many square pegs and lots of round holes to fill. I think we are in for another long season.

Traoré is shit.
As Ajax should not be Chelsea 2 or Chelsea 3 I'm not a fan of this construction but so far I'm also not a fan of Traoré who has clearly no idea where and how to find the target.

I dont know why we got Traore on loan,he is not a central striker which is what we needed.Rather see Dolberg there.We should never need to bring in loan players.Do we need Krul,he hasn't played for nearly a year and Onana is doing well and even saves a penalty.

I will indeed watch Jong Ajax,they play real Ajax football with Nouri controlling things.He,de Jong and certainly de Ligt are a pure delight and real class.

And we especially do not need Traoré who is not a striker, not a winger, just a haircut.

I've been totally mystified by the loan deals as well. I have always felt that AeG7 is a far better striker than he is a winger (he played there a couple of times last year) and he should have been considered for that position. Even Klaassen, with some tactical changes, could play in a more up front position by bringing in another midfielder who actually has some on ball skills.

Wasn't Onana the first choice keeper for Jong Ajax last year? The club should have some idea whether he is good enough to play first team football. Krul is a decent keeper but very poor on ball distribution so I'm not sure what he adds other than some more depth.
