I'm giving it up now. I cannot get a stable stream. NGSN is supposed to be returning in a couple of weeks and that should help since they pipe directly to the US from the Sky broadcast. We'll see if that does come to pass. Needless to say there won't be any player ratings. What I cannot fathom is why teams like Willem II pass better than Ajax.

It's the same as it's been for a long time: we can't get the ball through the middle. Nice that Younes can dribble past his man but it doesn't result in chances.

I think the defensive problems are happening because our defensive midfielder(s) don't block up the space just in front of our defense.

In any case there's not much good you can say about losing at home to Willem II.

I caught the last 30 minutes of the match as the stream settled down (it knew Ajax was on the ropes and would not come back). Right now this team is a train wreck. I would not spend much money trying to get a new keeper as there are too many other holes to plug. I was surprised that Andrade didn't get carded when he kneed Dijks in the thigh. It was clear intent to injure.

Too many players tried to be heroes in the last 30 minutes shooting from distance. I know Younes wants to do his tricks and maybe everyone is just standing around to watch but they certainly are not helping things out when he has no options but to go one on two. It's time to shake things up and I would go to a 3-5-2 and get two strikers up front. There is no danger at all from a 4-3-3 with this personnel. All indications are for a mid table finish this season. They may get lucky and win in Russia on Wednesday and that might save them from Thursday night EL football for a while.

I guess most of us have indicated the main problem for the last 3-4 years. We keep repeating it over and over. Doesn't the staff see the problem? Giving the ball to the winger and expecting him to dribble 3 players and deliver a perfect cross wouldn't work even if we had 2 Cristianos.

Isn't there a way to grab a few people from the throat and wake them up? I think nobody's home right now and the house is on fire...

Oh, Willem II's win must be their easiest win in their history...

I liked the way Overmars was busy on his cell phone in the final two minutes of the match. I assume he was trying to bring in 3-4 new players.

well I'm sure it's obvious to Bosz and was to FdB too, but it's not easy to get the ball through a packed defense when you don't have quality attackers.

This is why I keep saying I would like to see Ajax try a 4-4-2, to get an extra man in the middle to try to pass through. But I think wingers are compulsory in the eredivisie...

Apart from Onana ,who was not at fault with the goals and had nothing to do, I would not pay anyone else a wage for that utter rubbish .Not fit to wear the shirt and Bosz at this rate will be gone by Christmas. We all wanted de Boer out but not sure we ever played as shambolic as this in his 6 years (until de Graafschap)

If he is going to rely on kids at least put Cerny as a sub and play Nouri as he has the most talent of any kid in the club.

BTW it sounds silly under the circumstances but I like the look of Sánchez. Ok, he can't shoot ;) but he's fast, strong and an excellent passer.

I don't think it's only the players fault. We bought Traore which is a super talent and established Eredivisie player. Did he find himself in a good position against the keeper? Not more than 1-2 times. Even then he fucked up.

The system has failed. New players come and play the same shitty pattern, will end up as it did all these years

Wow. Just saw replays of the goals. It was vd Beek who didn't track the scorer on both occasions.

we need to look at our buying policy.Its good to buy Sanchez and Cassierra but we need to buy some quality experience and need to pay them more.

We bring in old has beens ie Zimling Heitinga and now Westermann but thats not what we need. We have to pay more money and get 1 or 2 better experienced players. PSV manage to this but we dont.

Sad to say but I am not going to get worked up in the next few days when El Ghazi and Tete join Cillessen in leaving.

We are just a finishing school for young players. We have about 130 m in the bank so lets try and buy some real quality experience.

Seems as though I was lucky last night as my neighbour invited me to a barbecue...just hope that my first thoughts of Bosz are wrong, but they are gradually ringing true!!

(for you guys who had trouble with feeds, I ALWAYS use http://livetv.sx/en/ and always get good feeds, whether using Sopcast or Acestream...the latter appearing to be HD)

Let's hope for a better result in Russia, although Rostov had a confidence boosting, and thumping good win against Tomsk yesterday....we can but pray!!!!

Lucky you Ian.2 weeks ago I think it was you who said Bosz may not last to Christmas. Biggest problem we have at present is the lack of older experienced players. We have a bunch of kids which is beautiful and sums up Ajax to the outside world but we are not going to get anywhere with them.Europa Cup and even 3rd place behind Fword.PSV will be champs again.

To repeat my last post we just sign 2nd rate or over the hill players.Westermann was poor v PAOK but looked very ordinary playing den Bosch and was nowhere near as good as a 17 year old who has nil experience.

Our only other over 25's are Schone and Serero ,both have been decent but even if they stay they wont play much.Boer is just a reserve and Viergever now 27 just a decent cover good enough for Az but adds nothing much.

Too late now as we try and pay 15m for Bailey just 19,but we have to change our policy to bring in 3 or 4 older decent experienced players.

Back to last night they were a disgrace to the shirt.Still Gudelj may be fit for Rostov!!!
