Players Leaving Ajax

Every summer we sweat over key players leaving. Klaassen and Veltman are part of the nucleus of the team.

Fischer just about gone and Ajax have confirmed Becker can go, he is contracted to 2017 .Not sure if Zwolle will buy him ,having been there on loan.

Looks like Klaassen won't be joining Napoli. http://www.football-italia.net/84959/kl ... e%E2%80%99 Man Utd and arsenal have been told to cough up €20 million! I doubt they are willing to pay anywhere near that amount.

Damon Mirani Jong Ajax defender who is being released is joining Almere City on a 2 year deal.Wasn't that special with Jong and was never going to reach our 1st team.Good luck to him.

Lesley de Sa ,who had an unsuccessful loan at Willem Tilburg, has joined Slovan Bratislava on a 4 year deal. His contract with us runs out next month.

There is a rumour that Schone could return to NEC Nijmegen, all we need now is for Andersen to leave for, perhaps, Utrecht.

Ruben Ligeon has joined Slovan Bratislava on a 4 year contract , he was on loan at Willem and then Utrecht last season and had a contract to 2017. He joins de Sa plus 2 old boys from Jong Ajax Lorenzo Burnet ex Groningen and Joeri de Kamps .


All we are doing at present is clearing out those who were on loan. Becker and Duarte can leave ,Andersen unlikely to return and Menig probably staying at Zwolle another year.

16 year old Juan Familia Castillo has finally signed for Chelsea. Chelsea dont do youths so he is going for money.

I read recently a young winger called Maddy was wanted by Spurs ,he is born 2001 .Other big player from 2001 is Redan already scoring goals at B1 .These could be the 2 players we have to fight to keep next summer.

At least we are offering contracts to 16 year olds again so I assume Castillo was offered a contract but we cannot match english wages as there is a wage cap in Holland whereby we can only pay 30,000 euros pa before their 18th birthday.

He also has a lot of young MFs ahead of him at Ajax so maybe he also was unsure of when he would get playing time on the senior team. Of course SPL is right about Chelsea not playing youth. They have won the junior CL tournament the past two years but it's likely that none of those players will move up.

I read Castillo was interesting Manu way back at the start of 2015 ,when he was still 14! Think he has always been leaving for money just like Malen and indeed Dilrosun . We will have offered him a contract but he will be getting a lot more signing to go to England.

We must be pleased that Nouri, v d Beek and de Ligt all said no to going abroad aged 16.

Cillessen is heavily linked to Everton, due to the imminent arrival of Ronald Koeman. If that is the case, then hopefully Stekelenburg will return to Ajax. I just pray that Southampton overlook Frank de Boer, so far so good. Frank de Boer may regret declining Lazio's offer. He is just itching to raid Ajax.

Agree about FDB going to Southampton and raiding us. He would take Veltman and would like Klaassen but Davy wont leave this summer and not to a small side like Southampton ,yes they are in Europa but are a smaller side who always sell and punched above their weight .In addition Klaassen would cost 20m euros and they wont pay that.

So Cillessen to Everton and bring Steks back and Veltman and maybe if we are lucky Gudelj go to Southampton with FDB.He can take Schone Serero V Rhijn if he likes.

Milik, elGhazi,Bazoer,Tete, Riedewald ,Younes wont go with FDB.Hope those 6 stay .

Keeper is the least of their worries. Joel played OK taking over for Howard this year. They are likely to lose Stones and have other problems on defense as well (I honestly think Stones is overrated). Just a hunch but I don't think Koeman will spend money on a keeper.

Boer had cup matches last season and I think two league games when Cillessen was out. Is he good enough as a #1 keeper. He was a starter for PEC Zwolle before coming to Ajax.

Not really, it goes back a somewhat long way to when Amsterdam was considered a Mokum city (yiddish for safe haven). Some of the supporters wave Israeli flags during matches. It's also one of the reasons you hear anti-semitic chants from Feyenoord fans.

FWIW I'm Jewish and had some relatives on my fathers side who lived in Amsterdam.

Just saw a story that Koeman wants Kaspar Schmeichel of Leicester for his keeper. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens over the next weeks in regard to who will be with the club. Looks like Boilesen finally has a club and he will be moving to Turkey to play at Trabzonspor.
