Players Leaving Ajax

I hope Tete will stay, I mean he has not had a chance to shine in the CL, so if Ajax win the eredivisie, I think there is a good chance he will stay.

apparently it was Inter Milan rather than AC who he was rumoured with, but as stated above Ajax has denied any contact from anyone.

Not surprising news but Sam Hendricks a striker for Jong Ajax is being allowed to leave this summer. He had one call up to the senior team this season when Milik was out injured but he doesn't have enough quality for first team football.

Still in shock that van Bruggen went to PSV, I was hoping he would go to a smaller team and return to Ajax after making the grade, but now there is no chance of that happening. He is one for the future

^^I think de Ligt is a much better talent and that's why van Bruggeren was let go.

Only surprise is V Bruggen has joined PSV where he will play for Jong PSV. There was mention we offered him another contract (maybe only a year) but PSV offered him 2 plus an option of a 3rd. I did expect him to sign for someone like Sparta or NEC rather than stay in the Jupiler league.

As for Jong Ajax next season de Ligt will take v Bruggen's place He is indeed a hugh a talent , and has played a year and a half with A1 i e since he was just past his 15th birthday,he is not 17 to August.

I am expecting and hoping for the following to leave Ajax :-

Attack: Fischer, Andersen, Milik, El Ghazi and Schone

Midfield: Sinkgraven and Serero

Defense: Boilesen and Van Rhijn


I really hope Van der Hoorn and Viergever stay for at least one more season, they are getting first team football, so they should stay. Also Veltman, who is proving to be versatile and bringing in leadership to the heart of the defense.

Cillessen Tete hopefully will stay another year , Veltman,Riedewald Dijks to stay.

In midfield Klaassen Gudelj will stay and Bazoer did say he will stay another year but having been dropped for the final 3 games who knows.

Up front Younes has said he wants to stay. I see Milik and ElGhazi leaving and these 2 would leave even if we had won.

Thus our main starting line up should be intact for next season .

The backup is different.

Boer will possibly go. V Rhijn to leave and v d Hoorn also and probably Viergever as all 3 want regular football.

Serero will go, and up front Schone and Fischer will leave. Sinkgraven to be loaned out .

Of those on loan etc de Sa, Duarte,Becker Andersen all to go. Menig and El Azzouzi loan out again together with Zivkovic.

I wont speculate on signings( 6 new signings likely to be needed) but kids to be in the squad v d Beek,Nouri de Jong,Cerny,maybe Muric . Owusu maybe standby RB but Sanniez is the better .

We will see.

Three midfielders with mediocre handling speed and one who has a really bad first touch is always going to be a recipe for poor football as witness this past season. Bazoer will be gone if FdB stays on another year. I think it was fine to sit him for a match or two but with the season on the line yesterday to not even put him on the pitch was just stupid on the part of de Boer.

Just for fun I went back and looked at Martin Jol's team in his only full year of managing. Ultimately they were edged by FC Twente who mortgaged themselves to the hilt and are now seeing the effects of that. That team scored lots of goals courtesy of Suarez and Pantelic and played exciting football. (you can find the roster here: http://www.worldfootball.net/teams/afc-ajax/2010/2/ ) Jol left right at the winter break the next year and I can't really remember why he did so. Maybe he felt like he failed, but it was the players he gave a chance to play that FdB used to win the first of his four championships. It's also worth remembering that Jol's 2009-10 team had more total points and a far bigger GD than any of FdB's teams. Something worth pondering!

If FDB stays I too think Bazoer will now move. I am not a Serero fan but he did ok for 2 games and Bazoer has looked jaded but he was evidently very angry after the game.

If FDB stays it does seem he has to decide between Trustfull and Bergkamp.Both dont get on and it seems FDB and Trustfull were for dropping Bazoer ,but Bergkamp and Spijkerman were not.

I wont cheer if those 3 MF's stay Gudelj and Klaassen should be sold and only Bazoer stay. An experienced DM and creative MF need to be signed. PSV managed it but they spent some money and did not leave it in the bank.

Jordy Bruijn a Jong Ajax midfielder ,who did not get many games injured a bit, has signed for Heerenveen a year deal with a 1 years option.Good luck to him.

Xavier Mous Jong Ajax goalie on loan to Oss this season and released by us has signed a 2 year deal with Oss.

Although he says he will stay Davy Klaassen is reported to be off to Napoli 18m euros with 7m bonuses . I assume thats 11 m up front which is not enough .18m up front would be a good deal

Pretty sure Milik will go for a similar sum 18 or 19m euros reported to be asking price in the english press.

If Klaassen goes its a case of 1 down and 3 to go as I want to see Serero and Gudelj sold plus Sinkgraven to go.Nouri, v d Beek and deJong will all be better than Serero, Gudelj and Sinkgraven .

I read that Viktor Fischer is leaving... It's really sad. I always considered him a great talent. Unlucky though as he was injured in his first good footballing year. I wish him all the best and maybe one day, he reaches his full potential

Viktor Fischer is becoming a smog monster by joining Middlesbrough for 5m euros plus bonuses .Newly promoted to the EPL this is a step up for him and I wish him well .

He was a hugh prospect before that lengthy injury but he has been played as a left winger which he is not. Maybe the smoggies will bring the best out of him.I have a gut feeling he will now blossom .

I hope Fischer succeeds in the EPL. Watching him this season it looked like he lost a bit of his explosiveness, perhaps because of the injury. He was always a favorite of mine but after Younes demonstrated better skills it was clear that his playing time would be limited.

Fischer had a nice start to his Ajax career but he was pretty ineffective in the half season before his injury, too. Anyway, I like the guy and hope he does well in the PL.
