I've seen both play 3-4 times and was not impressed. Sierhuis is a strong player who relies on strength to get position. That works at the youth level but not the senior level. Don't think we will miss those two but I do wish them well and hope they find another team to play for.

True both sites put a lot of 'man hours' in being on top of the news from our youth academy.

No problem for me that Sierhuis, Van Bruggen and Xavier Mous will go. Also not extending the contract of Aschraf El Mahdioui makes sense, in my eyes. His handling speed at the ball is way to slow to ever become a high rated Ajax player. Also his technical skills are just 'so so'.

Sierhuis has only played A1 level for this season and can still play another season with the youths.V Bruggen is nothing special and next season our Jong CD's will be de Ligt,Bergsma.Doekhi and maybe Leyder the Belgium lad who has had a long injury.

Raiola wants Juve to buy Tete 7m euros is quoted. Maybe just nonsense but Tete is yet to agree and extension to his 2018 contract.

Also a story in The Mirror that Arsenal are hot after our €25M man (aka Bazoer). Wow, if we can get that amount of money, I say go for it. We have enough midfielders coming up through the ranks at this point.

I don't know what to make of the Tete to Juve stuff. Quite frankly, Tete is a great defender but not very good going forward. Juve play with FBs that have to go forward whether they are play with 4 in the back or 3. I don't think he is ready for that right now.

Dont think Tete will go for at least another year he is a superb defender but not going forward.

The Arsenal story is simply their scout is looking at him regularly along with all the other top sides.Agree if someone offers 25 m we should say yes please. Mind Arsenal scout wont have been impressed last week as he was poor and has been for a few games now.

This is a thread that is always difficult to predict. At the end of last season Ajax really didn't loose anyone that they didn't want to keep badly. If I recall.

This season could be very different, or not. Let's start with the players that most likely will leave: Boilesen, Ajax has shown him the door but he just doesn't get it. A big ego, waiting for a big club to come along, that never will. He was never a very good defender and often injured. Ajax treated him better than he treated the club. Glad to see him go.
van Rhijn, I never considered him a very good defender either. King of the back pass. The emergence of Tete has really shown how poor he often was. Even when Tete was injured Veltman was preferred at right back.
V. Fischer, another oft injured player. Although a useful player relegated to the bench by the outstanding wing play of Younes. When he comes on as sub he seems pissed off. Good luck.
Serero, love the little man but gets little playing time and there are some nice Young players that should get those minutes. Best of luck!

I think that all the promising players in the current team could use an extra year of seasoning (or two). For every single one of them I think it would be stupid to even consider a move to England/Spain/Italy/Germany. They would drown. As so many young Dutch players drowned in the past years. That should be a valuable lesson for the current talents.

Agree with all Zeux's points.Tete and Bazoer are not ready for the big leagues yet.Even Milik needs another year here although if he scores a few goals at the Euros big money bids will come in.

I kind of like Schöne as a bench player. He has been quite useful in the past years, even though he wasn't the star player. You need support roles in a team.

Fischer needs to get his act together. Why not send him to AZ or another mid-table team for one year? The Ronald de Boer route.

Agree Schone is a good bench player but he may well look to leave so he can be a regular starter elsewhere.

Fischer has been dropped for tomorrow ,based on being very poor v Sparta last Monday. He needs to sort himself out but only has a contract to 2017 and if he decides not to extend he will have to leave . Ideally we should extend by a year and send him on loan to AZ or Zwolle.

If Cellisse leaves Ajax, Can they lure Krul to the Eredivisie from Relegation favourites Newcastle? PSV managed to lure players like Moreno, Guardado, van Ginkel and Luuk de Jong from stronger leagues to their team.

Krul is a top rate keeper and there will be demand for him. He's not going to be coming back to the Eredivisie. I think his current salary is over the Ajax "cap."

Boilesen has never had a big value for Ajax. This was probably his best match ever. But typical for his career, he went off injured in the first half:

In the same video a great tackel by Van Rhijn and he's giving an assist to Serero who rarely scores. But with a dumb backpass he brings Joël Veltman in trouble with Ajax paying the price continuing with 10 in a Champions League match.

Who is Cellisse? Cillessen should stay at least one more year.

In the 2017/2018 season Andre Onana will be ready for this job.

Stan van Bladeren and Indy Groothuizen are two goalkeepers in the academy that are also very talented. Both kids can aim for a very high level within a few years.

Daily mirror reports Man u and Juventus want Tete .They say he has turned down a new contract and with only 1 year left on his contract will only cost 7m euros. He has a contract to 2018 and 15m euros is more likely an amount.

V Bruggen the Jong defender,who has played regularly forJong this season has left on a free but signed a 2 year deal at PSV.Not surprised he is going but thought he would go to a mid table team.

The decision to have no A2 youth next season sees a list of 20 lads born between 1998 and 2000 culled.In addition 6 players born in 1997 are not getting contracts as they finish their youth. This must be the most players aged between 16 and 19 ever released by us ever.

However we could lose 2 more to England. 16 year old Familia-Castillo is about to sign for Chelsea and I read that 17 year MF Noa Lang has not had a contract offer yet from us but has had interest from England.

Not sure why anyone would join Chelsea as they dont do youth and I did read Manu wanted F-Castillo but clearly Chelsea offered more money.

Reports today that El Ghazi has agreed to join Inter Milan,he is in Milan this weekend.Seems no deal yet with Ajax who want 15m .Think he will leave this summer and plenty of rumours about Tete going ,although Raiola probably spreading these.

A mate of mine works as a sports editor at The Sun and says nearly all rumours printed are from agents wanting better deals or want their client to move.

Even if these are rumours I wonder what point is served trying to build a team around young talent when they are looking to leave after less than 2 years .There is no money in Holland and sadly we are not one of the rich big clubs so we will just have to put up with seeing our talent leaving early.

Sticking 18 year olds into the side is great but they will be gone by 21. Players debuting at 20 and staying until 24/25 is ideal ie Veltman Klaassen are in this bracket.
