Yes, I know I like to complain a lot, but the eredivisie certainly serves up some amusing matches. Credit to Groningen for going for the win, it made the last 10 minutes pretty exciting.

Not only amusing, both teams showed pretty good football too.

Also credits for SC Heerenveen and how they played yesterday night. With Joey van den Berg and Marten de Roon they have two bastards on the midfield (bastards in a good way), comebined with Sinkgraven and several other nice players with good technical skills.

Painful to watch that Veltman and some other Ajacieden were fooled several times, but to be honoust Heerenveen had some very nice attacks during the match.

I caught the 2nd half of PSV/Groningen, great result for Ajax. Groningen played really well. PSV lead is now just two points.

Agree with others about Eredivisie football. It's constantly entertaining and most years the championship goes down to the last match day!

Thought I'd tune in to PSV vs. Feyenoord this evening but it seems to have vanished from the fixture list... or am I just confused again?

It was postponed because there was a train strike and FWord fans couldn't get to Eindhoven .No new date but they are talking about 17 Dec which would mean PSV v Roda cup being put back but Roda want compensation for that.

The reason was PSV had to play the second half of their Europa League match on Friday due to heavy rainfall, and then they had less than 48h to rest before their Eredivisie game.

And now they play tonight and I don't know what would be best for Ajax.
But as I want them both to lose I think I might find satisfaction in any case...

Vermer still doesn't know what to do, when the ball is in the air. The best for us would be f-word winning this, but it's not gonna happen now. Let's hope for a draw.

I didn't see the game but if Luuk de Jong got a hat trick something must have been wrong and Feyenoord was supposed to have the best defense in the league! I guess this really puts PSV in the drivers seat now as I cannot see them dropping points this weekend. I'm afraid that we might just have to win out in the second half of the season to make this #5 in a row.

de Jong clearly fouled his defender for his first goal but the ref missed it and his other two were just decent headers off decent crosses—so it's not like it was the world's best hattrick. Actually PSV's fourth was pretty lucky too when Feyenoord defender Nelom (I think) slipped on a counter.

Well we'll see how the second half of the season pans out, hate to say it but I think PSV's squad may be better than ours... what do you guys think?

Well a curse they got the late winner but it is now a 2 horse race. We have a lot of kids in our squad and I wonder how they will last in a long 2nd half of the season if we end up getting through a couple of rounds of the EL,a few thursday night games wont do much for our prospects for the following weekend.

I think our squad is light in midfield. With Serero off for 6 games on African Cup duty we are likely to have Riedewald at DM.The only other spare MF are Zimling and Duarte,neither good enough .Our defence, even with Moisander who has not played well so far and is likely to leave next month, has looked dodgy. Ideally we need to replace Moisander with an experienced player but as much as I think Denswil is talented he has played little 1st team matches this season .

PSV are likely to keep their squad together with Depay staying and their thursday nights may end with Zenit.They may well not fall away like recent seasons,but they have not got a hugh squad and it only takes a couple of injuries to key players.

Our main positive we have great runs after the winter break for the last 4 seasons and we go into Sunday's match with a run of 6 wins and just a draw v ADO and certainly not playing to our best in any of those games ,except Willem in the first half.

They are just like FC Twente when they won the title a little while back. They play just good enough to win matches. I'm sure they will drop some points along the way but maybe not enough. Ajax also have to beat them in Eindhoven to stand any chance at all.

@Cruijff - don't see any pictures in you post. I'm on Firefox. I did see some film on ESPN yesterday of this and it's a disgrace! Those arrested should be prosecuted and fined to the fullest extent of the law.
