Ajax have said they want Becker(Contract to2017) and Ligeon (contract 2016) to go out on loan for the rest of the season to gain experience.

Becker at 19 has time to develop but competition is great at wing .

Ligeon needs games in the Eredivisie but if VRhijn stays another year Ligeon will go in the summer,with Tete the new no 2 and Owusu ,currently injured, challenging. If V Rhijn were to leave then maybe Ligeon will stay on
as experience whilst the above 2 kids breakthrough.

Yes Sheraldo Becker can be a good winger in the Eredivisie, he should be loaned out to for example Cambuur. If we'll ever see him as a regular starter in Ajax 1 I doubt it, but just like Lukoki he can be a useful attacker for other teams in the league.

In a way it seems that this is what Ajax does. Providing many players for other Eredivisie teams. At the moment FC Utrecht has 5 former Ajax players, in Groningen they have even 6 of them.
The F Word has several players who used to be at Ajax, also at PSV Eindhoven they have Narsingh, Jozefzoon and not so long ago Jeremain Lens and many more.

In my opinion Ligeon can better go on loan right now in January. Right now Tete is already a better backup for Van Rhijn, so if Ligeon want to get some Eredivisie experience he should on a short term, he should get it at another club.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ricardo van Rhijn stays at Ajax until at least 2016, by the way.

Duarte has been told he can leave this month as he has no future and wont be going to Qatar.

Good thing. With Duarte not going on winter training camp we can pick another A1 boy to join the squad for Qatar. Robert Muric, Donny van de Beek and Abdelhak Nouri are already picked for this.

Guys in the Dutch forum section asked exactly the same question last week.

Understandable way of thinking 'Muric has been picked for this, but why not Cerny?' but also a very logical explanation.

The almost 19 year old Muric is officially a member of the Ajax 1 squad so he's automatically picked for this trainingscamp. Cerny is from 17 October 1997, he just became a 17 year old 2,5 months ago.

Considering his age Cerny could also have been a member of the B1 or A2 so it's wise to be a bit careful with the young guys. The biggest talents will play quite a lot matches for A1 Eredivisie, Youth League, National Team U19, National Team U21 etcetera.

Cerny rated better than Muric already .

I read that there is interest in Siggy .QPR ,Lille and a German team. I would let him go but if Milik were injured we would be left with Zivkovic as our only striker !

Denswil is off to Belgium, he will sign a 3,5 year contract at Club Brugge.

I saw this news late last night and was abit surprised he chose Belgium but Club Brugge are a good side who are up there with Anderlecht. I wish him well and do not think he will disappear as he has talent.

Sadly his agent cocked up, his attitude was probably negative and finally Ajax this season just let him rot in the Jong team. I think he is as good as Moisander and I take no pleasure in knowing that Moisander will see out the
season go for nothing and his replacement is in Brugge.

We have lots of right footed defenders but few left footed. Boilesen struggles at defending,Viegever is just a decent bench warmer and cover and Riedewald a raw kid whose best position is not yet clear. In Jong Ajax Noordhoff and v Koesveld play on the left but are just padding and wont make our first team. We are now going to have to spend money on another LCD .

No winners in this but Denswil has had sense not to go to abigger club and sit on the bench.

I too wish Denswil well but am not one who thinks this is a major loss for Ajax. His mental approach to defending was quite poor and given that Veltman who is just one year older already has played a full season and half as a starter AND made the Dutch NT speaks volumes to me. I'm not sure FdB ever had full confidence in Denswil which may have led to the recent decision. We'll see what happens moving on now.

Having let Denswil go for nothing I read that Malmo are to pay us 500,000 euros for Sana,plus a resale clause.

If its true I am a staggered. He cost us 350,000 euros ,played for Jong all last season and has not played this season as we don't want him. I assumed we would have just cancelled his contract this month but good work by Overmars.

Lille have had a bid for Sigthorsson turned down, Frank does not want him to go this month. Well I would make him no 3 striker if he stays .Milik is No 1 and Zivkovic would be the main striker at every other club in Holland except maybe no 2 to de Jong at PSV. Zivkovic needs to be on our bench and getting playing time.

Please let this Iceland carthorse be sold asasp,he is standing in the way of a young kid who is already better than him.

This is crazy about Sigthorrsson. We probably won't get any more money for him than is being offered right now. el Ghazi could always slot into the striker role if there is an injury with just a little change in the tactics. I agree with SPL, we need to get the money for Siggie right now when it's on the table.

Sana went for nothing,evidently we could have taken a fee of 100,000 euros or a % of his future transfer fee. I would have taken the money up front but we will wait and see if he ever gets sold again for money and get a %, I doubt we will get 100k.

In my paper today Liverpool want to cut short Divock Origi's loan to Lille and they want 6m euros to release him .Lille have lined up Sigthorsson as replacement for 5m euros.

Thus if Origi goes to Liverpool I think we may see Siggy go this month.

Boilesen whose contract runs to 2016 has said he is not certain to renew as he may want a new challenge.Have to say if he wants to go,and given he has played just 40 odd games in 4 years who would sign him,I would let him. I don't think his defending is very good and I think we need a LB who can actually defend and stay fit.Not sure whether Riedewald is ready yet and also which is his best position.Viegever is no worse than Boilesen from the odd times I have seen him at LB.

For someone who has been injured for most of the last 4 years it seems his challenge should be to try and play a full season.I am not sure his body is up to a full season .

Only player leaving today so far is Jong Ajax defender Robert Van Koesveld who is joining Heerenveen,where he came from 3 years ago.This lad was never going to make our 1st team so good luck to him.


Been out for about 6 hours today and just come in and had hoped to see Zimling has gone. Klaassen,Sinkgraven,Serero,Andersen ,Schone (may be on the wing but he is aMF) Riedewald and Bazoer are ahead of him.

Who is going to pay big money for a player who still cannot play a full 90 minutes and has a history of knee trouble (which I truly hope he is over with). We'll see what happens here.

Contract talks will start soon.He is under contract to 2016 but we have a years option to 2017. Raiola wants him out ,if there is nil progress with his contract we should sell him in the summer. If Raiola or any agent starts messing Ajax around we should just sell the player.Denswil found that out.

If Kishna wants to stay with Raiola I doubt he will be here next season.

I hope he is learning Italian!

I've said it before, but it bears repeating: Ajax should have absolutely nothing to do with any player who's agent is Raiola. If he's not already here, don't sign him; if he is, dump him ASAP.

Moisander has a three year agreement to move to Sampdoria of Serie A on a free transfer. The club is currently in fifth place in Italy. Really wish we could have gotten some €s for this move.

For defending teams like Chelsea winning is perhaps the most important thing, even when it's with awful play.

I hope the main goal for Ajax remains that we play attractive football, that we continue with an attacking play style that attracts the crowd. That the fans can identify with the play style and with young lads from our own academy. And of course, it should be the matter that the Ajax manager and players are convinced that their attacking tactics give the team a higher chance of winning than with poltroon defending football...

You know, I think the only match I really enjoyed watching this season was our 3–1 loss to PSV. I'm finding our play so boring that frankly I don't care if we end up 10th just so long as the matches start to be fun again!
