Agree Kishna was very good and I too was impressed by Serero.Hope we complete the signing of Milik in January he is going to be a very good player and the sooner we sign him permenantly the better.

In the end an easy win over an opponent that really seemed to be disinterested in contesting the game. Needing a goal to advance Apoel seemed content to sit back and when the first Ajax goal came the match was over for all intents and purposes. Strange from a team that battled well against both Barca and PSG. Anyway off to the Europa League and it will be interesting to see who they draw.

Player Ratings:

Cillessen (6) - little to do other than kick the ball on occasion really not troubled all match long
Viergever (7) - nice match and played the ball well didn't go forward much at all
Moisander (7) - solid defending and maybe this was his last Ajax Euro match of his career
Veltman (7.5) - really good winning every duel he was involved in
van Rhijn (7) - nice to see him take the free kick at the end of the match had some good crosses as well
Sererro (7) - really quick handling the ball tonight both as the DM and more advanced player
Klassen (7) - well taken goal and great through pass to Milik for #4
Andersen (5.5) - as good as he was over the weekend just above average tonight some weak passes easily lost
Kishna (7.5) - MOTM for me and the ESPN commentators, created trouble all game and great crosses that led to goals
Milik (7) - drew the penalty for the first goal and was good on the ball throughout the match
Schöne (7) - solid match
Riedewald (6.5) - decent enough but looked around on occasion as if he didn't know where he was on the pitch
el Ghazi (6) - had some touches in the time on the pitch and might have scored had Sererro made a better pass
Zivkovic (5.5) - on late with little opportunity to display his talent

The ESPN commentators were remarking about the youth and talent of the team, particularly Kishna. They said it would be a nice squad if Ajax could keep the players. Fat chance on that one. Utrecht at home on the weekend and a win is needed to pressure PSV

4-0!!!! Don't remember the last time we scored so many in Europe. CL or EC.

Ajax vs Dinamo Zagreb was a 4-0 Champions League win in the season 2011/2012. Still one (or two?) goals too less after that Zagreb / Lyon fuckup!!

Oh yeah. The 8-1 win by Lyon and DZ defenders laughing and winking after they got scored on.
