Just to add Friday night still more defeats. U18 lost 3-1 to England ,Savastano and Nouri playing again.

U19's lost a friendly 3-2 to Germany with Zivkovic scoring. Owusu,V Bruggen and Riedewald from Jong Ajax and A1 midfielder V d Beek all played.Another A1 Lartey Sanniez was unused sub and Bazoer was out with a minor injury so plenty of Ajax at this age level.

Veltman is likely to start for the NT against Czech Republic in the first Euro qualifier as Martins Indi was very poor in the friendly against Italy.

The Dutch gloom continued tonight with a 2-1 defeat to Czech Rep. Mind last night the U19's lost 1-0 to Ireland,with Sanniez and Riedewald starting ,no subs listed and the U21's with Ligeon lost 1-0 to Slovakia in a Euro qualifier but have gone through to the play off round.

So at every level from U18 up Holland have lost every game over the last week.

Well should be 2easy wins for Oranje this week,with Cillessen,Klassen and Veltman in the squad.

Plenty of Junior Ints and Ajax playing.

U21 play Portugal over 2 games in a Euros play off for the finals next summer but only Ligeon and El Ghazi are included.

U20's play a 4 tournament vTurkey,England and Germany with only Leeuwenbugh and Tete.Kishna is also there.

U19's play 3 Euro qualifiers Andorra,Moldovia Poland with 7 Ajax, Owusu,Riedewald,V Bruggen and Zivkovic from Jong,plus A1 youths V d Beek,Nouri both midfielders and CD Mirani.

U18 play afriendly with A1 goalie V Bladeren ,and Savastano aLB

Finally U17's start Euro qualifiers with 3 games. de Lange a goalie and Sidoel a CD both from our B1 U17's and Eiting a DM playing with our A2 U19 youth. Rather sadly Dilrosun,Mensah and Peeters the 3 kids who have left to go for foreign money are all included . With ex Fword Kongolo of Man City 4 out of 18 are based overseas.

Bad night for U21's in their home leg play off v Portugal they lost 2-0. Chances of reaching the Euros U21 finals now very remote. Ligeon and El Ghazi both started.

In the U19 Euro qualifiers a great 7-0 win for Dutch U19v Andorra.Ajax players Nouri and V d Beek scored 2 each with V Bruggen and Zivkovic 1 each. Riedewald and Owusu also played making 6 Ajax involved.


U 18's won a friendly V Serbia 2-0 with V Bladeren and Savastano of Ajax playing.

Finally U20's drew 2-2 with Turkey in a friendly with Leeuwenburgh and Kishna playing.

Ligeon was better than decent and weirdly subbed off at the half by Koster who is a really bad manager (as he well showed when he took over at Ajax several years ago; Koster needed more attacking power and he takes of a fullback). el Ghazi was quite poor, didn't track back properly and his offensive play was non-existent. To be fair, the two forward midfielders Maher & Ebecillio were exceptionally bad. I'm really glad we didn't go in for Maher a year ago as he just doesn't have the necessary passion to make it at the needed level. Sinkgraven came on in the last 10 minutes and did better in that period of time than Maher had done all match long. He's rumored to be heading to Ajax but other Euro clubs may also be after him.

Didn't get to watch but seems like a hard fought win for the seniors.Only Cillessen for us played but good to see KJH come straight on and score.

I did watch the match yesterday and the only player who really did well was van der Wiel. Cillessen maybe handled the ball 2-3 times all match as Oranje had 80% ball possession. Was not at fault on the goal which came off a corner kick which was defended in the same manner as Ajax in recent seasons, poorly. Sneijder is a pale imitation of his former self; lost a lot of quickness and passes were poorly weighted.

I'm away on holiday in a beautiful area of England called the Cotswolds although the weather is crap at present and only just catching up on Oranje teams.

The dreadful defeat v Iceland was a hugh shock. Still think KJH should start games and not V Persie.

The bad defeat by the senior team has been matched by the U21's .Having lost 2-0 at home to Portugal they lost 5-4 in Portugal and wont be at the U21 Euros next summer.Ligeon and El Ghazi both appeared in the 2nd game.

At least the U19's qualified for the play off group for the u19 euros next year.Following the 7-0 win v Andorra they beat Moldova 3-0 and today beat Poland 2-1 Nouri scoring. V Bruggen,Mirani,Owusu,Riedewald,Nouri,V d Beek and Zivkovic all appearing at some point over the 3 games.

Final team U20's playing a friendly tournament started with a 2-2 draw v Turkey,Leeuwenburgh and Kishna playing.Then lost 3-2 to England with Tete playing and finally drew 1-1 with Germany Leeuwenburgh and Tete both playing .

just to report at least the Dutch U17 reached the next qualifying round for next year's u17 Euro finals.

Wins this last week by 2-0 v Finland, 1-0 Malta and 1-0 Serbia

Ajax had just 3 players ,defensive players Eiting and Sidoel plus goalie de Lange. Dilrosun ,Mensah and Peeters who left to go abroad this summer also played.

Oranje playing Mexico in a friendly and Latvia in the Euros have Cillessen Klaassena nd Veltman plus V Rhijn in their initial squad.

3 other Dutch sides playing in a couple of weeks time with plenty of Ajax in the intial squads.

On the U-19 we finally have more youth on the preliminary squad than Feyenoord. It's been a while since this happened and is a good sign that things are heading in the right direction.

After last night seniors 3-2 defeat by Mexico the U21's lost 3-1 to Germany today in a friendly.I watched the 2nd half as El Ghazi was the only Ajax player involved ,although V d Hart was goalie. El Ghazi made one or two runs but went off midway through the half. V d Hart was not at fault with any of the goals.Boetius's goal was good but nobody really impressed.

Just to rub it in the Dutch u18's are playing a 4 nation tournament and started with a 4-0 defeat by Germany.Goalie V Bladeren, defender Savastano and striker El Idrissi played ,with another defender Bergsma in the squad.

The U19's play 2 friendlies and we have V d Beek,Mirani,V Bruggen,Bazoer and Zivkovic in the squad. Riedewald,
Nouri and Owusu were in the squad but dropped out with injuries.Owusu has torn a groin but the other 2 have minor injuries.

Sunday v Latvia is the big one and Holland have to win.

I thought it was strange that Veltman was played out of position on the left center defense last night with Vlaar on the right. IIRC Vlaar played on the left in the WC. Veltman did say after the match that he found the game much faster paced than the typical Eredivisie match.

The U19 actually drew 1-1 with Scotland .V Bruggen,V d Beek, and Zivkovic started and Bazoer Mirani came on as subs.

Just watching the Oranje playing lovely footy v Latvia.Glorious goal by Robben and V Persie with KJH scoring as usual.

I neither care nor follow England nationally and to see a low life like Rooney as captain ,words fail me.English football is just greed and money and it can rot in hell imo.

I make no apologies at International level I do love the Oranje.Old tossers like me fell under an Oranje spell in 1974,before a lot of you were born, and are still under the spell.

Hope KJH can score a couple more in the 2nd half.

A very easy 6-0 win and the Dutch are now back on track. Robben had a great game and KJH ,does nothing flash just deadly at putting the ball in the net.

Only Ajax player Cillessen had little to do .

I watched the game, too. Good, crisp, accurate passing, with the emphasis on attack. It was fun to see. Hope we can do as well against teams with a little more strength than Latvia. I was surprised (and not pleasantly in the slightest) to see Bruma starting -- where did that come from? On another note, Daley Blind picked up a knee injury in the 20th minute and had to be subbed -- any word on how serious it is?

Think I counted 6 ex and current lightbulbers to 5 ex and current of ourselves.(OK I count KJH as ours he was only a youth at PSV ) V Rhijn,Veltman both played v Mexico though and Klaassen was in the squad but dropped out injured. Mind if you add Cillessen and El Ghazi thats the only 5 Dutch guys regularly in our starting team at present.

Some bad news Zivkovic has been sent home from the U19's and misses their game tomorrow for unprofessional conduct. No details but Aaron Winter,the U 19's coach said he has had problems before .

More bad news Serero's hamstring got injured for SA and Schone came home with an injured knee.No idea of how bad they are.

More bad news from Ints was Lucas Andersen's Denmark debut ended early with him being elbowed in the mouth
and having a couple of teeth dislodged, not sure whether they are loose or got knocked out but he too is doubtful for Saturday.

The Dutch U19's didn't miss Zivkovic yesterday as they beat Belgium 3-1 with Mirani scoring a goal. V Bruggen and Bazoer started and V d Beek came on as sub. Leyder, played for Belgium .

The U18's with A1 squad players V Bladeren ,Bergsma,Savastano and El Idrissi ,finished 3rd in their 4 nation tournament.Having started with a 4-0 defeat by Germany they got better drawing 1-1 with Turkey and beating Czech Rep 1-0.

These kids all got good experience playing at Int level.

Oranje teams this week with Ajax players at full,U21,U19 and U18

Full team play Turkey in Euro Qual and Spain with Cillessen,Klaassen and Veltman

U21 play France in a friendly with El Ghazi,Tete,Menig plus Sinkgraven and Kishna both injured so may drop out.

The U19's play 3 qualifiers for the 2015 Euros with the group winners going though. Out of a
squad of 18 we have 9! V Bladeren,V Bruggen,Owusu,Mirani,Riedewald, Bazoer,v d Beek,Nouri,Zivkovic.(Sanniez and Groothuizen are also on standby)

U18's play 2 friendlies with Savastano and El Idrissi both contracted plus defender V Zweeden.

NB.The U17's played last week in a 2015 euro qual and are in the finals as one of the best 2nds from those groups.The finals are always shown on Eurosport in May.

4 Ajax played ,midfielders Eiting and Boultam are 17 but the other 2 are 16 this year Malen( striker with Raiola) and defender de Ligt who wont be 16 until August debuted for our A1 youth on Friday.

Zivkovic was dropped from tonights U19 qualifier due to being late for a team meeting.He was dropped from the U19's back in November for the same thing.

U19's started their qualifying group with a 1-0 win over Serbia.6 Ajax started ie V Bruggen,Mirani,Owusu,Bazoer,
v d Beek and Nouri with Riedewald coming on as asub. Wins over Norway and Switzerland will put them in the finals in the summer.

All eyes on tonights main game with only Cillessen of our 3 starting. Hope for 3 points for Oranje and a hattrick by Huntelaar.

Plenty of Ajax already played today in the U19 group qualifier. We drew 1-1 v Norway , V Bruggen,Riedewald,
Bazoer,Nouri started with just v d Beek coming on as sub. Zivkovic restored to the squad but unused sub.

Bazoer scored for Oranje but v Bruggen missed a pen. Oranje play Switzerland, who have lost to the other 2 teams, on Tuesday and a win should be enough to go through to the finals.
