A 1-1 draw today v Turkish team Sivasspor with Sheraldo Becker the goal scorer. Only Lukoki of any note played and that was as a sub.Gravenberch and Boccara both loaned out last season also played,the remainder all kids mainly those just out the youth.

Still some players like those mentioned above need to be loaned out or sold as we have about 30 players to choose from at present.

First league game tonight,home to Telstar and 20.00 CET ko.Its on Fox Tv so should get a stream. Cillessen Veltman may get some time and the likes of Denswil Andersen Duarte and Zivkovic should play.

1-0 at Ht a nice run through the centre by Andersen passing to Menig who slotted home.

Glad I was not alone in watching . Menig took his goals well and think he is one for the future.

Hard to judge as most should not be playing this level. Veltman only played 45 mins , Owusu still eligible for the youth replaced him .The other defenders Tete Riedewald Denswil along with Bazoer and Andersen dont need another season at this level and could all play regularly if loaned out to other Eredivise sides. Once the CL starts we wont see such a strong team out and the likes of the other 2 young subs Bakker and Acolatse ( came on late for Duarte and Menig) will be seen more.

Thanks for the heads-up SPL! I had to do other stuff at the same time but it looked like Ajax sent out quite a strong squad and handled Telstar pretty easily. Noticed Duarte went off after about 60 minutes and Zivkovic was also looking a little frustrated... hoping those two can make an impact in the seniors this season.

With so many "senior jong" last night Jong played a friendly v Al Dhafra of Abu Dhabi today and won 2-1 with an OG and Bakker the goals. Bakker,Acolatse and Owusu all used as subs last night played and the rest were all youngsters who did not play last night. A good idea early season giving the fringe players playing time.

Jong played Sittard this afternoon ,away, and won 2-0 .I should apologise for not posting this morning as the game was on Fox Tv and thus there would have been streams . I was out all day so missed it.

Becker and Zivkovic with a pen the scorers but the bad news Bazoer sent off on 30 mins. Sittard had 2 sent off in the 2nd half.

I saw the last 30 minutes. Both the wingers - Menig and Acolatse refused to cross the ball to Zivkovic on at least 5/6 occasions.

May as well start with really crap score from last nights home game v Volendam. We lost 5 -0 and had 2 players sent off. Leeuwenbugh the goalie went after 35 mins and Zivkovic on the hour.Only positive news Robert Muric the young Croatian winger made his debut. It was not on TV which was just as well

A shambolic performance we lost 3-2 to the bottom team and Denswil was sent off 10 mins from time.We went 2-1 up with Menig,coming on for Becker, and Kishna the goalscorers.After Denswil was sent off they scored 2 goals in the last 7 or 8 mins to win.

Away to Den Bosch and again its not on Tv and very much a young team ,think Boccara at 21 is the oldest. Expect a defeat tonight

Finished 2-0 to den Bosch ,Becker Hendriks and Noordhoff got used in the 2nd half but not a very good team put out by us.Most were youths last season and clearly not up to beating senior experienced pros.

I see tonight GAEagles played Willem and neither V D Hart nor Sporkslede were involved ,both were loaned out to play higher level than Jong Ajax but are not playing. They may as well have stayed with Jong Ajax.

Wiziwig had a stream that I think was Fox2. I only caught the last 20 minutes and they had some half chances to score but could not get the shot off. They were OK on defense during this period but I don't have any familiarity with the players and there are no names on the shirts and no commentary on the feed.

I did see a stream wizinet but didn't get it to connect and as it said no fox tv thought nothing of it.I think this may have been the stream as it works on the Valencia game that was being shown.

Clearly missed nothing as we lost.

I've seen a couple Young matches so far this season. I enjoy watching even if they don't win...it's the future ya know. It was great to see the new wonder boy Murcic, RW. Glad he's finally cleared to play. He showed some very nice skills and should have scored.

Muric getting more playing time is a positive and Keskin and El Hasnaoui both playing for the first time this season after injuries.These 2 seem decent prospects and even impressed me when watching last season but are both very injury prone.
