Hamburg fancy Moisander but haven't any money. 6.5 m euros seems the figure required.This is the first club actually mentioned as linked to Moisander.

Really hope this deal won't happen. It wouldn't make much sense. Moisander has said he want's to move to a bigger club. Bundlesliga is a bigger league, but HSV is really struggling and won't play in Europe at all. Hope he stays, but I guess that would mean he would have to sign a new deal.

A proposal for renewing and improving his contract can be done later. But I don't want to lose Moisander and Schöne, two older guys (compared to the rest of the squad) who have done well the past two years.


At the moment I'm confident with our young, fresh selection. We have brought in spectacular talents in the attack, the defense is ok as I expect Van Rhijn, Veltman, Cillessen, Blind, Denswil, Boilesen and Moisander are still growing. Viergever is a nice attribution to our squad.

But when we lose guys like Moisander and Schöne it will be too much a school class.

It's a shame he never quite made it with us. When I first saw him, I had high hopes, but in the end he kept coming up just a little bit short. Anyway, I wish him the best, and hope he does well at Zwolle.

Mitchell Dijks can leave and my local team Brighton,a championship team , fancy him. The lad was really not good enough but with Boilesen still injury prone we have Blind maybe, plus Viegever and Riedewald who can cover.No problem if Daley stays but he is still tipped to go to Man U ( still see him as a bench warmer there)

Witschge was quoted yesterday as saying that Blind probably leaves; I suspect that it's better than even odds that Daley moves. Vermeer seems content to stay even if he can't regain the #1 role. Surprised that there has been no mention of Moisander leaving and that poses a question as the club has stated in the past that players in their last contract year will not play. Sigthorrsson to QPR appears dead in the water.

Hi Orange agree it does look as if Daley will be off but still cannot see him at Man U other than as a utility player and on the bench.With no European footy Shaw will play LB and they are in the market for a big name DM ,seems like they want him as cover.

To show you how funny things are, The Evening Standard in England are saying Spurs are after Fischer and that they scouted him last season. I wonder if they know that he is out on rehabilitation until late December!

Ajax are demanding 17 million euros. The last time Man utd made a bid for a key player at Ajax was for Nigel de Jong, they offered 500,000 Euros. It was rejected, it would be interesting to see what they will offer, my guess is they will only offer 10 million and wont move from that. Barcelona however will splash the cash and offer around 14 million, Ajax will accept that.

Hedwiges Maduro seems the name to replace him.currently at PAOK . Not sure what anyone thinks of Hedwiges.

Didn't know Maduro was still playing. I remember him on the 2006 Dutch NT for the WC and then he was gone to Spain shortly thereafter. Never did much of anything at Valencia and I think they moved him to central defense at one point. He's only 29 years old but I don't know if he is totally healthy. He had some kind of cardiac abnormality a couple of years ago and only played 9 matches in Greece last spring after moving on a free transfer.

The chinese kid Wang,who played only a couple of games for Jong last season has left and signed for Porto club Coimbroes .From what I have read he wasn't really good enough for us.

Still selling Jong players. Gino v Kessel a striker ,who was on loan at Trencin Slovkia,last season has joined French 2nd division team Arles-Avignon on a free.God luck to him, signed from AZ but didn't get many chances with Jong Ajax before loans to Almere then Trencin.

1) I will put it here and not in ex players .Geoffrey Castillion,whose contract finished only in June has joined New England Revolution in USA,good luck to him. I checked his record he played 1 game for us but was loaned out to RKC,Heracles and NEC .

2) Meanwhile every english paper runs the story Daley is wanted by Man u and we will insist on 22m euros ,ie £20m quoted by our press. I checked the 2 main Ajax sites and 2 main Dutch sites and clearly Man U have not contacted anyone. If they haven't made an offer by tomorrow afternoon we should say he stays,end of.

I guess the absence of anything new on Sigthorrsson and Moisander indicate that they will be staying. Club will have to step up and see if they will extend by a year or they leave for free next summer

Mitchell Dijks has joined Willem 11 Tilburg on a free transfer,again a player not good enough for our first team but a decent Eredivisie player.

Nothing anywhere on Moisander or Siggy or indeed Vermeer.Still hope Siggy goes ,someone like WBA or Hull may come along on Monday.

Ajax just announced that Siggy will stay as they cannot find anyone better who they can afford.As we have a wage max of 1m euros clearly we cannot get anyone decent so looks like we are stuck with Siggy.If indeed he does stay we will need to get him to sign an extension of his contract.
