I agree with spl about the lineup for the return match. Our midfield last night was terrible, to slow and no handling skills. We need to see if Andersen and Duarte can step up and play at top level. I think de Jong's transfer value is approaching zero. I don't even think he is good enough for Ajax moving forward. We'd are probably the best of all the mediocre Dutch teams but that's about it. Ericksen is really missed.

This one came on at 3 in the morning in this part of the world, so I decided to give it a miss. Soundsl like it was a good decision. Watching it must have hurt worse than having a wisdom tooth pulled.

Mention of de Jong's value I read this week that Dortmund fancy him and 10m euros mentioned .I cannot believe that. Think
a mid table German team may pay 5m ! At present he does not add anything to our side and agree with Orange he really must not play at MF again.

I suggested the reserve squad because this tie is now dead and avoiding defeat in Rotterdam the following Sunday is vital.We need to rest our key players for Fword.

At one point I thought he might turn into a "poor man's Lewendowski" but it really looks to me like he has lost a step. I don't know whether it was the lung problem last fall or the leg injury but he certainly is not as "quick" (if that's the right term) as last season.
