Liked the article ,a very interesting read. Only shirt for me is ours and a law should be made we wear it for all away games although Ijsselmeervogels would have been made to wear another shirt last week.

So the Ajax Store has sold out of this season's Away shirt in Size Small.
Every year the first size to sell out is M then S. Surely that tells the club to make MORE of these sizes and less of those left over like XL and XXL?

Anyone know where I can still get one in Small at a reasonable price?
eBay has a guy in Poland who wants US$130 delivered for a shirt!

I've seen the new shirts via Youtube....no real difference, but I thought that Aegon had stopped the shirt sponsorship!!

Aegon contract runs to the end of next season.

Aegon contract was extended till end of 2014. There are rumours that Netherlands will allow online gambling starting in 2015. That would lead to BWIN and Unibet being our sponsors starting next year.

All rumours mind you.

I've just seen the new kits (both home and away) on football shift culture, the new shirt is by far my favourite for a long time, if they lost those arm stripes it would be fantastic. im not 100% on the away shirt, and whats that sponsor all about?!

Nice prank by adidas and Edwin van der Sar on Frank, Siem and Daley. Personally, I kinda like the waffle pattern kit. And I would love to see them play in the tuxedo kit, like on April Fool's Day or something like that.

I'm really getting frustrated with football shirt prices these days. i really wanted last seasons home and away shirt, and this seasons home, as well as the dutch national home and away shirts... but they are £59.99 plus delivery everywhere i look.

which means to get the 5 shirts its £299.95 plus delivery charges! what an absolute joke.

I always buy straight from the Ajax store. I know things are more expensive but I figure the team gets all the profit rather than a resaler. Also one gets the top of the line shirt rather than the replica which is of lesser quality. They don't charge all that much for shipping to the US since the package is so light and it usually arrives within 10 days of purchase. Other than the Adidas stripes on the sleeves which I've never liked, this year's shirt is a winner.

i get that, and its fair enough more of the money goes to Ajax, but last season i tried to order direct from them, it was 155euro for the home shirt with sleeve badges and delivery. id almost be cheaper flying over and getting one from the town... my last trip to holland was £42 return, (Flights)...

I had bad luck with last year's gold sleeve badge. First time it came out of the washing machine half of the letters were gone. I didn't order any badges with this year's shirt. Nice you have some cheap flight options, it's much more expensive coming over from the US!
