It's amazing to see the difference between a player like Serero in Ajax 1 and in Jong Ajax; can Lobotka do the same? Can Andersen do the same?

Serrarens scored for Almere, he played for Ajax as a teenager, just like the goalkeeper Van Duin.

1-1 at the end nothing much to say ,a very poor game .Nobody stood out for me. Martina and Meleg came on as subs .

About half the Almere players came through our youth but they did not look any worse than the Ajax players imo.

Playing Jong PSV at home tomorrow 20.00CET and as its the only game its likely to be on tv so streams will be available.

With the 1st team off to Milan Sana will be the only player from the 1st team squad playing.Even our U19's are in Milan playing Milan U19's ,so our team will be fairly weak again. Mind they had 5 or 6 of the first team squad in last week but only drew v Almere.

1-0 down at Ht ,not very inspiring by avery young Aajx team,only Sana is not a teenager.

2-2 in the end and we nearly got a late winner. Hendriks, a sub , scored a penalty on 77 mins to bring it back to 2-1 for us with PSV having a man sent off for the penalty and 5 mins later Kuipers with a good header equalised. We nearly got awinner with their goalie almost taking the ball across the line. Vermeij and El Hasnaoui also were subs used and the left footed attacking MF El Hasnaoui impressed and should surely play more games .

I saw the second half. Kuipers didn't do a very good job on the 2nd PSV goal and the rest to the defenders did even less, just holding their hands up in the air as if the player was off sides or the ball crossed the end line, he wasn't and it didn't. There was some pretty good passing and openings were created. Good to see the team come back and get a PK and then tie it up with a man advantage. A couple of choice opportunities to win it were missed. Still difficult to figure out who from this team will advance to first team football. Other than Sana they are all pretty young as SPL noted.

EDIT: agree with SPL about El Hasnaoui. In the matches I've seen he looks like a decent player.

Hi Orange,I don't know whether you watched the english commentary stream but he got Tete and Gravenberch mixed up. Tete was no 4 and played all the game and looks a good prospect ,he is now playing CD but is a RB.Gravenberch wore no3 went off on the hour mark ,he did not look that impressive. A very powerfully built lad who was an ex striker.

So far only Bazoer and to an extent Tete look as though they will progress. I would want to see El Hasnaoui get more playing time.

No, I had to watch 13th Stream on SopCast so it had Dutch commentary. I did know Tete and Gravenberch from previous matches. I didn't see much good from either Meleg, Lazic or Lobotka.

Away to Jong Twente tonight but its not listed as being on Tv so no streams. V d Hoorn, de Sa and Sana could all play and young Riedewald but if they are going to stick to the likes of Martina Kuipers and Gravenberch in defence and not play El Hasnaoui in MF they will struggle again.

Final game home to MVV on Friday then a months break. They need to promote some of the senior A1 youths and let some of the Jong squad go to Almere where they may play in their reserve team ! Martina would not get into Almere's first team imo .

de Sa and Sana may well play but Andersen is evidently playing and not going to Roda. With no youth games I hope we can see Kishna getting some minutes.

Subs used Lobotka for Bazoer at half time, El Hasnaoui for Meleg on 70, and Vermeij for Sana on 87 .


Jong are now 16th out of 20 with 25 points thats 9 clear of Achilles at the bottom.

Bad result last night 4-0 defeat.At 2-0 Emmen had a man sent off and scored 2 more with a man short.Ajax had El Hasnaoui sent off after 90mins.He had replaced Kishna on the hour.Vermeij plus another A1 youth V d Boomen also came on as subs.

With 5 first team squad players a very poor result.
