Agree with the rest of you Klaassen is superior to de Jong in the MF position and is improving with every game. Siem will have to play as a striker in future.
Re: 07 Dec 2013: Ajax - NAC Breda
Read on Twitter (VI.nl) that Davy Klaassen has five goals in eight Eredivisie matches this season .

Glad to see Denswil get some minutes as he will play against Milan with Moisander.

What would it take to get a penalty call tonight?
Re: 07 Dec 2013: Ajax - NAC Breda
I just hope that Fischer didn't get hurt too bad there. He was able to walk off - so that's a promising sign.

Re: 07 Dec 2013: Ajax - NAC Breda
Good win. I'm hoping we forgot our winter slump this year. What can we predict from the line up/substitutions tonight? Who will play against Milan? I think Klaassen will get a start!

Re: 07 Dec 2013: Ajax - NAC Breda
Looks like Fischer is OK after the stomp on the foot by Suk who deserved to be sent off. Some of the best passing that we have seen in some time from a very young Ajax squad. Other than about 3-4 minutes almost everything was played in the NAC half. Tremendous pressing everytime the ball turned over which was great to see (we don't see this when de Jong and Sigthorrson are in the lineup at the same time). Off to Milan minus Veltman and I guess Duarte and don't know if de Jong will be able to play.
Player Ratings:
Cillessen (7) - saved 2 of the 3 shots on frame (the crossbar saved the other one) and his kicking was very good today
Ligeon (7) - very active out of position on the left side, great speed allows him to make mistakes and correct them against this level of competition
Moisander (7.5) - fantastic pass on the third Klaassen goal
Veltman (7) - very steady play again
van Rhijn (7.5) - would have been higher but for some wild crosses, but still great to see him go forward and open up spaces
Blind (7) - not as good at left back, fell asleep a couple of times on defense but otherwise solid
Serero (7) - sometimes too unselfish but created some very good opportunities
Klaassen (8) - well deserved MOTM, quality today in all aspects of the game
Fischer (7.5) - worked hard all game long and was unlucky not to get on the scoreboard
Hoesen (7) - weakest of all the players on the pitch but still very solid
Schöne (7.5) - great passing and the way he beat two players in the box was delicious
Bojan (7) - good to see him on the scoreboard and he really looked to others to pass to
Poulsen (7) - reliable subbing as the holding midfielder
Denswil (7) - will certainly have a tougher test in the San Siro than he had today
Match official made two dreadful decisions: van Rhijn was clearly pulled down in the box and should have had a penalty and no way did Bojan dive. Milan snatched a late draw against Livorno as Balotelli scored twice. They have a number of injured players but we will have to play good solid defense to defeat them. Probably will see a hard fought 1-0 win.

Re: 07 Dec 2013: Ajax - NAC Breda
Bojan may start v Milan instead of Hoesen but depends if Fischer is fit. Big question who will be LB .I would take a punt on Ligeon,Poulsen is too slow and I would rather have Blind at DM v Milan

Re: 07 Dec 2013: Ajax - NAC Breda
This team seems to have found a nice groove. Klassen has very good awareness of when to time his runs and best of all is that he is not static.

Re: 07 Dec 2013: Ajax - NAC Breda
Who dares to say Ajax dont have strength indepth? When Toby and Eriksen departed, people were saying how poor Ajax will be this season in their attacking midfield and defence. Fastforward, first team players Sigthorsson, Siem de Jong, Duarte and Boilesen are out injured, yet Ajax still manage to demonstrate their superiority in the league.
Re: 07 Dec 2013: Ajax - NAC Breda
Well I ended up getting to see the second half. Yes, it's only NAC (we beat them 5–0 at home last season) but Ajax look like they've finally found some confidence, they were passing very quickly and there was loads of movement off the ball. Not many teams in the eredivisie can stop us if we play like that—keep it up and we can expect a nice run.
