FDB has been praising some of our A1 youths and has had a few of them training with the firsts over the last week . El Ghazi the young winger from Sparta and Ricardo Kishna ,injured for 2 years , both started for the A1 's today with El Ghazi scoring 1 and Kishna 2 in a 3-0 win over Groningen. Becker and Acolatse 2 other talented youth wingers were both subs today so we have 4 wingers coming through from the youths and all will be 19 next year . Nice to hear Kishna is playing again after 2 nasty knee injuries which meant nearly 2 years out .

His contract is up next summer but alas Raiola is his agent !!!!!

Not much cheer in the CL U19's but our A1 beat Roda today 7-1 and Ricardo Kishna ,scored a hattrick and only played 45 mins. After over 2 years out injured clearly sounds as if he is the talent that was predicted aged 16 before the injuries.Ajax are looking to give him a new contract ,his expires next June, but Raiola is his agent !!!

I do hope Raiola is not the agent of the 16 year old talents Nouri and Walian as neither has a contract as yet.Walian only just 16 came on as sub for Kishna today and scored a goal. I am repeating myself but a 16 year old goalscorer already playing at A1 U19 level should have had a contract on his 16th birthday last month.

16 year olds signed from other Dutch clubs and from OS get contracts but those already at Ajax now have to wait until they are 17.Thats one Cruyff policy I do not agree with .

I saw that Justin Kluivert netted two goals for the C1s against Groningen. Would be cool if he continues this good progression. Anyone know if we have ever had a father/son combination play for the first team?

Our final U19 CL game at Milan yesterday was postponed due to a frozen pitch . We had no chance of going through to the Ko rounds but evidently it was Ajax who would not play the game ,Milan and the referee both said it was ok .

Ajax could be fined but I read if you refuse to take part in a game you can be banned from the competion for a year !

Although Trustfull is the U19 coach, pictures showed him talking with Jonk so clearly the club officials will have agreed with him.

There is a report in De Telegraaf that talks with Kishna over a contract extension have been discontinued. Too bad as he's a real talent but maybe the issue of whether he is full recovered from the two knee injuries was an issue. this is a tough call for the club.

I have been reading comments on Ajax showtime ,via google translate ,as this site carries all news, rumours and comments from fans.

Contract negotiations have broken down and Ajax wont be making another offer. The kid's agent is Raiola and evidently Milan and Juve fancy the kid so it looks like he is taking the money and will not be heard of again until he joins RKC in about 3 years time.

Kishna has had 2 bad knee problems and has been out for 2.5 years until this Sept .He has now broken into our A1 team and has been training with the firsts. His thanks are to walk away .

We have gone through this 2 years ago when Ouasim Bouy ,also coming up 19 and in the final year of his first 3 year contract took Juve's money and he had Raiola as agent. (He spent a year in Serie B and has had a long term injury)

Because of Bouy, Cruyff decided that as from last summer our own 16 year olds will have to wait until they are 17 to get their first 3 year contract. The best can then get contract extensions after 2 years ,aged 19 when they finish in the youth but still have a year left of their original contract and thus are less likely to leave. ( Had Bouy's first contract taken him to 20 he would have been in our 1st team squad at 19, when he finished at youth level, and signed another contract with us. )

This means 16 year old talents Nouri,Walian Dekker and V d Beek will all have to wait until next year ,when they are 17, to get a 3 year contract.

I'm on Cruyff's side on this one in terms of the first contract. If these young players cannot figure out that they stand a far greater chance of getting good first team experience with Ajax early on then they should by all means leave. Maybe they can look how well this worked out for Bruma, van Aanholt, Castaignos, etc. (I realize that these are not Ajax youth products but the comparison is apt). Big clubs will always spend money on experienced players if they see a need that has to be filled. Moving to Italian teams is really not wise these days given the rapid decline of the quality in Serie A which is likely to continue for the foreseeable future.

It looks like youth players Walian, Dekker and Nouri are all going to sign contracts keeping them with the club until 2017. Another youth player Brook is also likely to sign and in the biggest news, Kishna's agent Raiola and Ajax may have one final discussion about a new contract. This is good news across the board.

Nice to see our A1 beat Fword A1 3-2 today.Evidently Fword team nearly all born in 1995(final year as youths) whereas Ajax had just Acolatse and Menig born in '95 and 2 born in 1997 and the rest born in 1996 thus we had a much younger squad.

Our A1 team I believe are now top of the table but considering Kishna Riedewald V d Boomen Anderson and Becker have all been promoted to the Jong since Christmas and Hendriks Bazoer and Tete have played Jong all season and not in the A1 we clearly have a lot of talent.

Normally we have a squad of kids who are 17 this year ie born in 1997 and all playing in our U17 B1 team. This season is different as the B1 team has players born in 1998 ie 15 year olds . Also since Christmas Nouri V d Beek were promoted to our A1 and Walian in both A1 and A2 youths.Leyder, the Belgium lad , in the A2 along with full back V Zweeden and winger Dekker(these last 2 are out injured)

The main players

Goalie V Bladeren

The following are in the preliminary selection for the U-15 NT match against Serbia:

Navajo Bakboord (Ajax)
Nigel Bouman (Ajax)
Justin Kluivert (Ajax)
Noa Lang (Ajax)
Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax)
Anderson Lopez (Ajax)
Donyell Malen (Ajax)
Ché Nunnely (Ajax)

Someone has posted that this group may be the most talented since the Cruijff revolution took place several years ago. Will be interesting to see if Kluivert progresses at the same rate as his father!

Thanks for the links Benji. Are you going to any of the days?

Ajax beat Corinthians 4-0 with goals from Nouri,de Wit and Karlsson2. We lead our group with a max 6 points,Celtic and Liverpool 3 each so we should get to the semis where its between Anderlect Milan and Benfica with the Belgiums top of the group.

I read the reports on Ajaxnetwerk and clearly Nouri and Cerny were not only our best players but the best 2 on show today.

NB I will leave it to Benji ,who follows the youth closely, but I have read that Che Nunnely, a forward and aged 15,is the best prospect in all the youth.I assume along with Nouri a very gifted midfielder .

I watched the Celtic game -- we were in clear control of it but, like with the big team, had difficulty finding a way to score. We also had problems several times with their forwards getting in behind out defense. Fortunately for us, they couldn't find a way to score from what looked like 'can't miss' chances.

Just watched the Liverpool game not very inspiring from Ajax although Nouri and Cerny only came on in the 2nd half.Like the look of Mensah who was RB and only 16 this year.

Cannot believe the semi in only a 15 min break away.
